Why the need for Travis if the Euro tender is coming? You guys need offence, and if this kid will help out with that, take it. Keeping a 20yr old for a backup would be stupid. Thank you Score! MarkOfTheBeast felt that way too. Pretty bad when most of your backup is from PEI and NFLD. |

Definitely would be stupid if he IS going to be the full time backup...makes no sense at all...but maybe they go half n' half till Christmas ..let the euro get his feet wet over here (different style of play-different culture away from home..ect) then throw him into the fire full time. I'd hate to see him get shelled nite after nite and possibly destroy his confidence |

Come on habh8er....Mayer plays for the Swiss national team at world tournaments! He should be use to getting shelled by now! ;D
