In L'Acadie Nouvelle this morning, they had an interview with Ward and he said that he's had no real contacts with pro teams and he's heading back to CB.

Very good news for CB!
Michael Ward is to CB what David Savard is to Moncton and Remi Blanchard is to Bathurst.....the cornerstone of the D....

Someone said a few months ago that Ward's game wasn't polished enough to play pro at 20 Seriously though, that's great news. It also makes the trade a huge steal for us as I doubt Lewiston made the deal figuring he'd be back.

But...., to put things back in perspective, it also puts CB back as the #2 team in the Division unless Saint-John land both Hoffman and Peterson....

this is great news but even tho the sea dogs have Peterson and Hoffman it doesnt mean that they will click.. yes they are two greaet players but Saint John was also supposed to be a contender this past season and they werent even close to it.. so this means that we have a legit chance to be number one

And then go out in the 2nd round of the playoffs. I would be curious to read what tge Dogs achieved that awards that much bragging.....nothing! The Sea Dogs underachieved 2 years in a row... I expect no less this season if Hoffman and Peterson do not show up...

Having Ward for two years is a real bonus, no disrespect to finn who we all know is good, Lewiston doing some funny things with their defence the last couple of years, got no experienced 19 or 20's left..they make for a great trading partner
