From nothing to front page news. Gotta love Cape Breton www.capebretonpost.com/index.cfm?sid=54472&sc=145Vincent on the 5 20's in camp: “I haven’t spoke to the 20s,” said Vincent. “We haven’t made our decision — it’s going to be a battle among those guys.” He said no deal in place to send Sheppard to Halifax. Wide open in goal with Davenport, Benda, Bellevance-Roy, Downer, Collier and Paul Dorsey and that the goalies will have "goalie practices before we start the day with the rest of the team to evaluate as much as we can to make the right decision.” And with another sad sign the team loves its mediocrity: "The organization is less than 100 season tickets away from reaching their goal of 1,950 season tickets sold".

That's an odd goal... wouldn't the goal be an even 2000? Pascal is saying Sheppard is here to stay if he comes back... hopefully being said just to pump up his value.
Good to see an extension on the CEGEP rule... that's always been the source of some questionable early cuts.

I gotta give the Post some credit- loved that graphic on the front page of the big question mark with the faces of the five eligible 20-year-olds in it......... with Sheppard's face as the dot on the question mark. Creative, clever, and got the point across quickly- good work.
