Was considered for the Q defensive player of the month did not win What are your thoughts on that? I'm disappointed he didn't win I felt that he totally deserved it back to back player of the week and he had a solid month....I wonder the criteria they use to pick the player of the month and player of the week.

I at this time don't know who won the month ..But Matt did have a great month in our eyes..But I am sure there must have been others who did even better in league's eyes..

Corbeil's numbers (2.34 GAA/.930SV%) were slightly better than Poulin (2.40/.914), but it's hard to overlook Poulin's 8-1 record.

Gelinas was 8-0, I believe Actually 7-0 with a 2.4 GAA and a .908 SP So his numbers slightly less then Poulin and the SP well below Corbeil, who was 4-4-1. Corbeil faced 34 SPG, Poulin 28 and Gelinas 26. I am a little disapointed that Corbeil did not get the nod as he is playing for the last place team, the other 2 teams are among the leagues best. In his 4 wins his save percentage was .97. But for sure all three goalies had a solid month.
