For those who don't remember, I did this last year. Rather than type out the explanation for how this all works, I'll just refer you to last year's example.

SYNOPSIS: Culligan is the biggest non-20 year old sure bet to come back.... Slaney after having a letter would be very unlikely to not make the team.... Quesnel/MacNeil/Gauthier would have to majorly screw up to not make the team given the amount of spots open, and the fact that they all played well last season as rookies, Haddad is adjusting to a new team but is obviously more experience... Ouellet is the best 20 we have and it seems as though Pascal will try to ice the best team possible, but we can't be sure... Gouchie was a high pick, had good numbers last year so he should be close to a safe bet to make the team... Denny is the only real high forward pick the team has in camp so he should have a great chance... Edge just SEEMS like the prototypical Eagles Ontario pick up, and I'd bet that Pascal uses one of the open spots on an older player... Ceccanese/MacDonald after being 4th liners last year have a leg up on the others but aren't locks due to age... Laberge is a much more well rounded player than Gallant but Gallant is a darkhorse depending on his camp and what look Pascal wants the team to have... the best guess on Sheppard is that he's 50/50... Chouinard was an early pick but somewhat of a "project" player, with good but not great numbers he's definitely not a sure thing, especially given the Eagles somewhat suspect history with sending guys back to MAAA.... Sherren has a scoring touch, late pick but with open spots has a shot... Fontaine is the type of player the Eagles would probably like to send back but again, there's room on the roster... among the rest I'm going by reviews I've heard on this forum, Roland & Desveaux seeming by far the least heralded.

SYNOPSIS: Clearly among the best 3 20's year olds IMO and also the only defenseman, but not good enough to bring in a great return means I think we'll see Prokopetz back, but we can't be sure.... Corcoran might be ever so slightly pushed more than the forward vets but he's basically on the team, as is Finn who was picked in round 1 and said to be a steal where he was picked.... the Eagles must think highly of Lamontange to give up a decent pick but there is that bust possibility as we've seen in his Q career.... Eagles obviously have plans for Piskacek bringing him over here but have admitted they don't know how his game will adjust to North America.... rumours were going around that Breton wouldn't be back, and if one vet is going to lose his spot it will most likely be him.... Watts was a high pick with good numbers last year so he should almost have a spot to lose... Amadio seems like the prototypical Eagles FA pick up, draft pick of Windsor... Sauve was highly hyped going into last year's season so he should get a good look, and Gervais is following the development path of a lot of Eagles d picks who have made the team... Rolland, Fazzalari, MacDonald, and Mariani are all 18 and have shown skills at different times, but Rolland was given up on by VD, Fazzalari often struggled in the Q, Mariani had low numbers this year for a more offensive dman, and MacDonald had his problems in camp last year... the Eagles picks from this year should get a look but not since JF Beaudet has a 17 year old dman made the Eagles the year they were drafted.
GOALTENDERS
Marek Benda- 80%
Kyle Downer- 31%
Olivier Bellavance-Roy- 31%
David Davenport- 31%
Paul Dorsey- 16%
Justin Collier- 11%
The goaltending situation here is as clear as mud.... Benda was brought over with some hype, there's no guarentees with Euros but he's by far the safest bet to be between the pipes.... Davenport takes up a 20 year old spot, Bellavance-Roy may be too young, and Downer doesn't have Roy's upside or Davenport's skill at the moment.... Dorsey will probably get a longer look than Collier as he seems to be coming in hype and the Eagles love their Ontario prospects!
