Hearing that Chris Holden will be trded or released ! Ken said that last night after the fourth goal. He said something along the lines of: Why put Holden in relief when he's being released in 24 hours?

This move may be a physcological ploy to keep roy on his game..............ie: roy would not want to be pulled and have a rookie bail the team out if he is having a sleepy game.....too bad I think chris holden is a good goaler but that's a big risk..... if he's gone they better get something for him; not only affecting now but the future if we don't

Moncton got (hometown boy) Kelsey Tessier too? Holy crap - two teams that went wild loading up are likely going to face each other in round one.... unbelievable! Meanwhile one of Rimouski or Chicoutimi, both sellers, is going to rd 2. Think it's time they changed the playoff format? ;D
PEI picking up CHRONIC underachiever Derek Famulare = hilarious, what a typical Savard move!! What exactly was the point in PEI blowing their talented team up this year........ yet bringing in under-producing veterans like Famulare and Jonathan Bonneau? Oh and trading for a 19-year-old Jr A goalie that they'll have for half a season, in Wendell Vye!
Another interesting point is that Quebec, despite being something like 4th overall and in an easy division, decided to sell. Gone are Kelsey Tessier, stud dman Samuel Groulx, and (injured) #1 goalie Peter Delmas.

SYDNEY — The Cape Breton Screaming Eagles placed goaltender Chris Holden and defenceman Myles Micallef on waivers. Head coach and general manager Mario Durocher said he was trying to make a deal for both players to find them a place to play in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League, but couldn’t swing a trade by Thursday’s 1 p.m. Atlantic deadline. The Eagles will now called up 16-year-old prospect Alex Veronneau to backup starter Olivier Roy.
