Roy apparently will be making a decision after January 1 on what to do with his team. He has been getting many of calls for Neron, Paquette, Tessier to name a few and has been contiplating his next move. Apparently Roy, unlike the Eagles see the writing on the wall with Rouyn and Saint John along with Moncton who has added some significant depth are not able to make a big run.
Eagles have been inquiring about Amyot from Halifax, Wall from MTL and both Paquette and Tessier. A 3rd is on the table for Amyot, and not sure on Wall but Paquette and Tessier are two of the names Mario is going after. He feels if he adds both Tessier and Paquette along with Amyot and Wall he is in good shape.
Fire all the arrows you want but that is the skinny.

I wonder what Mario would have to give up to acquire Paquette and Tessier and either Wall or Amyot although Clubber suggests a 3rd is on the table for Amyot.
Those additions would certainly strengthen the team but only deplete the immediate future of the Eagles even more. It would also give us a dozen 19 year olds on the roster.

Wow. Never seen this coming if it happens. You got so much talent there? Will the prices even be there? Will Rouyn change their minds on the Caron Cormier?
Paquette's a guy you hate to play against but would love to see in an eagles uniform. They have a list of great 19 year olds but the price will be too steep to see any come this way i believe. With the way the future looks now, you might as well trade ellis because he will be the only good player here for the next few years.

highly unlikely quebec will trade down, they're in the top 5 in the league.

highly unlikely quebec will trade down, they're in the top 5 in the league. Top 5 in the easiest division in the league. Come on the top teams in the league are Saint John and Rouyn Noranda as your 1 and 1A then Victoriaville and Monton neck and neck then you got some outsiders like PEI, CB and Quebec. Top five really means nothing compared to the top four
