Seems like Bissonette has left the Sags. If he was a key part of the deal for Deschamps what happens now?

Seems like Bissonette has left the Sags. If he was a key part of the deal for Deschamps what happens now? Not much. He played for them yesterday. IMO, he's just taking a few days to let the trade sink in.

I dont think its a stipulation in this deal but I always thought If a player does not report to a team that the former team has to pay up a compensation?? Otherwise you could be getting a top tier player for some young guys and the young guys not report and therefore the other team wins the deal...Just an example.

But he did report to the team, so even if there was a clause, it would be void.

Teams will check in with the players Agent...so if Martel didnt do that, its his fault.
