Tonight's Game is more than a match for 2 points . It's a very good idea that the Organizations have come up with to help the less fortunate in our respective areas . Please remember to bring a Non - Perishable Product ( or 2) to the Rink tonight and have a chance to win a Special Game Jersey . It would be nice to see the boys win the game also .................but ..........that is indeed secondary on this Night . See you at the Nest !

No problem not a good start boys already 3-0 Eagles with 7:29 to go; interesting news just read the Eagles are interested in Allen for Roy wonder how much truth there is to that. I believe Roy is a good goalie why would the Eagles want to get rid of him!!!

Just tuned into the game and it is intermission. Looks like the eagles are playing well and seems Roy is into it again. Not sure what the quality of the shots were but 13 shots on goal by the moose some must have been quality scoring chances. By the way who is not dressed for the eagles? Might shed some light on who may be moved. I know Bernard is still not back and of course Adam is away. But what other players?

The Allen Rumour was all over the Rink tonight.....................makes no sense ..........Roy is an Eagle ! So Halifax are this bad because when they traded for that weasel Marchand , he set the Team back 3 Years ?

We develop goalies so well, and Roy is no exception. Why the hell would we trade him for (what is a great goaltender) where he'll be next year? makes no sense.....more like April fools than happy holidays! Really hope it's not true
great to see the guys (and ROY) with 2 straight shutouts. Again, why trade him??

Rumour I got was Allen for Roy and Shaw. If true, could Eagles management be taking a shot at the cup? With Legoux and Adam on the team, and the # 1 puckstopper in Canada Juniors...Rumours might be true!

Why make that trade just to get a marginal, at best, upgrade in net? And lose having Roy next year? And perhaps mess around with team chemistry?
Sometimes the best trades are the ones you don't make. I think Olivier's made a statement in his three starts since the World Juniors, and those making the decisions should take the hint.
As for tonight.. even though it was only Halifax, the guys looked great. They came out extremely hungry, and most of our guys were hitting all night. Those are two things we haven't seen nearly enough of on home ice this year. If we can bring that level of hunger and physicality on a regular basis, then we might be in business. But we went an entire first half not doing so.

a marginal upgrade is all it will be...........esp when there is a competition going on.........thats when roy plays his best...........but there could be more to this than meets the eye stay tuned where there is smoke.............fire as for the game tonight legault is proving to be worth what we paid which was lots.........i like how he sees the ice and how he hits..........this alone could be adding a dimension to other players games..........ever since he came others have turned up the hitting

Those are two things we haven't seen nearly enough of on home ice this year. If we can bring that level of hunger and physicality on a regular basis, then we might be in business. But we went an entire first half not doing so. There is something in the last three games that I haven't saw alll year on a consistant basis and that is work ethic. I agree deer the physical aspect was not only visible but it was on going. Roy is the goaltender and is playing with tremendous confidence right now. Lapostelle played two very solid games and I like the physical side Bergeron brings each game as well. I would hate to be a first line that would have to be playing against Cuzner, Bougeois and MacDougall all night. They are going to give Moncton's first line fits. They are aggravating Kenny Linseman's out there who draw penalties, don't give you a chance to breath and finish their checks. Fournier is showing so much poise out there along with confidence which is great to see. I think the eagles may have a war on their hands in the first round so they key for me would be to add another solid forward to the equation to play on the second line and for god sakes keep Nick MacNeil at center. He is playing his best hockey there.

Clubber, a lot of people feel Nick's taken his game to a new level with the move to centre. Mind you, he's only been there four games I think - pretty small sample size, could be just one of those hot stretches that occurs with the ups and downs of a season. But if his elevated play continues at centre, maybe we could think about him pivoting his own line when Adam comes back. Of course you keep Adam, the best player in the league for my money, at centre... perhaps play him with Hertzberg and Legault. And then have Nick center his own line.

It was good to See Chasson Macintosh and Cuzner get some PP time last night, I enjoyed this game very much and the question on my mind is.... Do we actually have any room for Bernard when he return's?
