It was good to See Chasson Macintosh and Cuzner get some PP time last night, I enjoyed this game very much and the question on my mind is.... Do we actually have any room for Bernard when he return's? Of course we have room for him. He wasn't brought here to play on the power play, he was brought here to fight.

Fight, big body presence. You always have room for one of those guys.

Of course we have room for Bernard, on the 3rd and 4th lines not the top 2 where Mario mostly played him.

Horyl out. Mario not saying why. Day to day being careful. Didn't see the injury last night?

Rumour also thas it that Roy is a problem in the dressing room. Ler's remember he ain't no Flurey. So a trade could be good for him and us.

Invisible? I don't think so. But i could tell his was labouring back to the bench a bit after shifts. One of those nagging injuries.

Sorry hal if I offended...I don't know if he's hurt or what? But in a game that we get 6 unanswered goals. Not only did Horyl not get a point, but no shots on goal as well? I'd say he is a little off his game.
I'm not a Mario fan at all, he's too much of a player's friend instead of coach, but he must have a good reason for sitting him out.

MacIntosh shouldn't be going anywhere - he's progressed nicely as the season's gone along, and had a strong game against Halifax last night. A pleasant surprise out of a late round pick, and should be a good two-way player for us for the next couple of seasons.
Horyl played just fine I thought, he and Bourgeois were creating plenty together. Then I didn't see him in the third period, and figured he must have gotten hurt somehow. Hopefully it's nothing too serious, it's the second time in a short while he's been out of the lineup.

Was over in Canada for Christmas visiting family and travelled down from Inverness County to watch the Battle of Nova Scotia in Sydney. Had never been to a hockey match before and I really enjoyed it, an impressive venue and a good crowd. Will definately be keeping an eye on the Screaming Eagles from now on. How does the fixture list work? Cape Breton play mainly against the other Atlantic Division teams but also some games against the teams from the other divisions? And most of the teams end up in the play-offs but the difficulty of the draw and venue is based on how high they finish in their own division? Its a very different system from the soccer one Im used to .

Its a very different system from the soccer one Im used to . Glad you enjoyed the game, I am a Moosehead fan so the result was not to my likeing. I played a lot of soccer (football) growing up and do follow the european results. Your leages are more geared to the regular season, with a few playoff like challange cups thrown in during the season. Pretty well all North American sports put more emphasis on the playoffs as the regular season winner is more or less forgotten. The league the eagles play in is a little extreme as 16 out of 18 teams make the playoffs. The 4 division winners are seeded 1 to 4 and everyone else based on points. After the first round within you division it goes highest seed to lowest for the rest of the way. Pretty crazy huh? Cheers
