Ticket redemption night so we might see a few more bodies at the rink vs a team that traded its top scorers at Christmas.
A couple articles in the Post, including noting that Adam, Legace and MacNeil would be on a line and PP unit together. With injuries to Legault and Horyl, I wonder what their lines would be when they return as I thought Hertzberg and MacNeil were good together.
The article also mentions that Holden was traded to Campbellton in Maritime Jr A and won his first game with 25 saves. Did anyone actually get a clear answer as to why we let him go? Micallef?
GO EAGLES!

I could be wrong, but I really don't recall any explanation on Micallef's sudden disappearance from our lineup.
All of a sudden, after Christmas, he was gone......... yet still being listed as a healthy scratch at each game. During that time, I don't remember there being a reason given as to why he wasn't in the lineup, although those in the know knew he'd been released. Finally, after the trade deadline passed, it was announced he'd been put on waivers. But for those two weeks or so in the meantime, fans didn't seem to know whether the guy was still an Eagle or not. It was all pretty vague....... especially considering the guy was a 1.5-year veteran.

Riki drafted him 6th overall, traded to quebec, good offensive numbers but apparently a liability on the back end but I am not don't know him that well.. Does he have attitude issues?

Playing with Miramichi now
Miramichi/Campbellton Jan 9th, 2010 - Miramichi trades 2nd round pick in the 2010 draft, 3rd round pick in 2011 draft and future considerations to Campbellton for the rights to Christopher Holden.
Got his first win when Miramichi beat Campbellton Jan 10th 7-3

Heads up if anyone interested Justin Chiasson is playing for the Yarmouth Jr A Mariners and in 2 games has 3 points, all 3 points coming against the Halifax Lions on the 9th with 2G 1A

Not very good in his own end, and not very consistent. He's the only one of Rimouski's four 2006 first rounders that didn't live up to the billing.

I'm disappointed that Nick is back, I presume on the wing with Adam and Lagace because I honestly thought he had a few of his very best games in terms of physical effort while he was playing center.

Micallef was told not to return after X-Mas and that they would try and Trade him to keep his Scholarship money in tact but it didn't work out .The Kalin Paul thing kinda just happened all of a sudden and room had to be made , the smoke and mirrors was complete bullshit, the kid deserved better but that doesn;t seem to be important anymore .Interested in seeing all the new faces and the return of "The Force" !

Topgun, the 2nd paragraph of today's article in the post begins with, "Team captain Nick MacNeil, Luke Adam and newly acquired Jacob Lagace have been put together on both regular duty and as a power play unit".
I guess I must have misread that somehow.
