I really thought Veronneau looked great in his first start. Granted, he didn't face alot of shots. I still thought he came up with a few big saves. Would have been sweet to see him get a shutout in his debut.
The Legace/Adam/MacNeil line is going to be solid once they start to click.
Question: When Horyl/Legace are both healthy, provided we don't have any other injuries, who will draw out of the line up? Bergeron and ??

I think Norm Ferguson twice in the broadcast made a reference to Nick and his skating. He basically reinforced what others have said about Nick seeming to be much more involved in the play at the center position.
As far as line combinations go, Mario experimented supposedly all last year (except in case of Demkov it seems) and never did get it right, even into the playoffs. I hope it works out better for the Eagles this year!
It's funny but the posters on board here seem much happier with last night's game than assistant coach John Hanna in the post game or Mario Durocher in today's Post who basically was p'ed off about the effort.

I thought the Eagles started out strong only to let Chicoutimi climb back in it. Too many times this year we seen them take their foots off the other teams throats instead of finishing them off. Luckily, Chicoutimi don't have enough fire power left or we might have seen another blown win at home.
The Adam line were a little off sync but they just need time together. I agree Legault would look better on the left side & put Nick centering the 2nd. I noticed Adam took alot of short shifts, (including the 1st of the game 20 sec. in) & his linemates stayed out and scored at the 45 sec. mark. He probably needs a couple games to get his legs going.
I was really impressed by Woodworth. Excellant first showing by him and Veronneau, both 16yo. I also thought Shaw played good & Dion looked better at center.
Hopefully, they can get everyone healthy soon so they can get the line combos together and get ready for the playoffs.
