Will Kalin Paul get the Green Light to play Today ? Rumour has it that he had several run-ins with Teamates while he was there , he may get a chance to address it as Super Mario has sais his "Upper Body" has healed and is good to go, no doubt there are some former mates that wouldn't mind answering the knock on the door .Horyl is still experiencing Concussion Symptoms , Parker is not ready and Legaut needs a few more days .............Bernard ...game time .

Drakkars play the Eagles 3 times in the upcoming week, this should be 6 easy points for the Eagles,

I guess the really good news is that 2 of those 3 games are on the road!
However, Chicoutimi was only easy for 2 periods and Montreal and PEI weren't as easy as they should have been!

I know BC is a weak team, but secondary scoring is coming through. Really helps when the big guns are struggling to gain chemistry.

well Mario said he wanted them to shoot more, they did and got the goals! I was going to post before the game to say they would have to do more than shoot but I guess today shots did matter.
Now let's do this for the next 2 games against them!

8-0 win in spite of the fact that Adam and Lagace still aren't even close to being gelled....... they're trying too hard to find each other, and it's screwing up the natural flow of that line. On the plus side though, the move to replace MacNeil with Hertzberg on that line sure looked good - Hertzberg was the best player on the ice today, two beauty goals and really showed off his speed. Our first-ever Swede sure has proven to be a sweet Euro pick!
Dion with easily his best game since joining the team, he was throwing the body and was hard to knock off the puck.
Even though it was only Baie-Comeau, you have to be happy with the fact the team played pretty close to a full 60 minutes. That's the best thing you can take from an easy game like that.
Felt sorry for their little goalie Giroux - battled so hard and played a real good game, only for the floodgates to open (including a couple fluky ones) in the final few minutes. He deserved a better fate..... would have been a game star had the score remained 5-0 or so instead of 8-0.
One concern though is that Olivier Roy seemed to be in pain in the last few minutes, and looked really uncomfortable in the final minute. Hopefully it's nothing serious.

Wow this was an interesting one, Roy gets his 20th Win of the season, 5th SO of the year ( now tied for most in the Q with Poulin of Vic) He was kind of nagging with about 6 min left and I weird scramble left him what seemed to be in more pain, It didnt look to good got 5 days to rest and recover with Veronneau getting 1/2 stars against them next weekend I should believe.
I felt we played an alright game, Poor McNeil looks lost out there BIG TIME
Legace doesnt look like the million dollar player hes brought out to be, a couple good chances, He had Luke open a couple times and decided to shoot it right at Giroux, I know hes a goal scorer but needs to read the ice a little more as Luke is the goal scorer....
Woodworth wasnt noticable out there a whole lot but when given the opportunity he showed uo, I dont know what Mullet man was thinking pairing him up with Paul who on one play got caught out of position and left woodworth to handle a 2 on 1.... which leads me to my next opinion
Paul...... Man I dont know what it is about this guy, caught out of position, pinching when shouldnt, He especially should have been more aware playing with Woodworth since Paul is the Vet and all..... I dont like him..... he adds toughness sure but his ability to judge is not the greatest especially for a team that is making a "Run" for it...... His goal tonight was a gift Giroulx should have had it.... and after he scored what does he do? Elbows a guy to the head...... Not good news as far as my eyes see... NEXT
Mario seemed to play roll the dice again tonight with the lines minus the exception of Shaw-McD-Dion, which I might add played very well tonight, at least something is clicking.... which will obviously be broken up once Horyl comes back.... If we had to have played PEI again tonight I would have called a closer game or another loss because BaC is BAD probably the worse team I seen at the Center in awhile anyway.... Put hey a Wins a Win right?

I really agree with Hertzberg being the best guy on the ice ......."hands down" , I also like that line of MacDougall,Dionne and Shaw.Really hope Roy is OK .Anybody notice that Brodeur seems uptight at times on the PK ? He is so focused on clearing the Zone (which is not a bad thing) that if he just took a split second to look he had Bourgeois and Legace leaving the Zone unchecked with a clear path to the Goaltender . Super Mario wanted shots ............he got shots .

i taught that Dion was one of the best players out there the whole game.. was really impressed with him.. hope that Roy is okay.. guessing that Verroneau will see some playing time on the road trip.. i taught that it looked like Adam was trying to do too much while he was being on the ice..
