Clarke with a goal and two assists this evening, Moose lead 4-3 early in the 3rd period- not bad for a dirty punk ;D Yeah, what a detriment he is.

lol they couldn't bring themselves to give Clarke the first star (got the second star) but sounds like a great game from him. Bernard keeps rolling which is good to see... 7 points in his last 10 games vs. 7 points in his first 34 games. Finally the team scores some goals.

What is this - offence, hopefuly they can keep it up. Do you start Delmas against Quebec? To anybody who watched the game, was he shakey?

You do start Peter Delmas against Quebec he wants them bad...I was more pleased with the amount of goals tonight as we do need a few games where the pucks are going in and counting great stuff and congrats to team for another two points we will take them any way...Too Bad Lewiston got a point so we really only gained a point on last play off spot..

Not a great goal by Lewiston to tie it. A bit of a weaky by Delmas. But they stayed positive and got it to a shootout. Knotek with his patented low blocker snap shot, and Grant with the back hand high, which has become his bread and butter.
Good to see all the goals...finally!!. Good night for the top line. I'm assuming they skated together, or were all the points just off the PP? Bernard another good game, and good to see Gelinas get a couple points. Even though he's only 17 we need him for some offense. I'd say Delmas starts tomorrow in Quebec, for obvious reasons, and then to Corbeil for Shawinigan.

Wheres the Maineiac guy who was going to give a recap on that great team in Lewiston that is going deep in the play-offs with one 20yrold and one 19 yr old Nowhere did I ever say this team will go deep in the playoffs, and I apologize for being a bit later than i wanted...I crashed out after the game and had to work all day. My apologies ;D Now, onto the game: Honestly, i almost felt like I wanted my money back. The Lewiston team that played against RN last week must have been still out celebrating or something. That said, it was a competitive game, if not of high quality. Lewiston's first goal was a crazy redirect off skates. Their second was a high tip that bounced through a bunch of people and hopped over Delmas' shoulder, and the third was a 2-on-2 turned into a 3-on-2 with a late breaker up the seam that left Delmas helpless. He still wasn't as sharp as I remember him, but he was good enough to get the win, and that is what matters. Both teams got goals that were on funky hops, Clarke's was a turn-around blind slapper that found its way through three players and beat Lemay short side. The Moose had this thing won in the third. Somehow, Carrier held the puck in at the right point with about :08 to play, swung it deep across the top of the slot to the lower left half wall. Bissonette tried to churn through two guys, slid the puck to Lacasse, who shot from the faceoff dot. The puck looked like it beat Delmas either short side low or 5-hole. The OT, Delmas nearly allowed the winner on a breakaway, but managed to stop the puck from the seat of his pants. In the shootout, your second shooter (Grant) pulled a move I remember Voracek using, with a quick-flip backhand over the glove side without a deke. Halifax guys who impressed me were Desjardins (he can burn), Grant and of course Knotek. I thought Clarke was great, and I will never say anything bad about him as a hockey player for sure. Great talent. And like I said before, I hope he gets his off-ice stuff resolved and has a great career. I never wish any ill-will on these guys...they're all still kids. Lewiston was definitely sluggish, and not trying to moffend anyone in Mooseland, but that tends to happen when you go from playing a contender to playing a non-contender. I would say the same in reverse had it happened the other way. Good luck the rest of the season. I have a feeling we'll be having more discussions with better records between the two teams in the next couple of years Oh, and if Bathurst moves to Sorel (because I promise it's not going to be Lewiston), maybe they'll put us back where we belong in the Atlantic Division... ;D Ahh, to dream....

Actually once I read the post I was not going to send it as you stated that you could give somebody a rough time in the play-offs but my error I was not going to post that message but I hit post reply instead of just going out, Again thanks for the recapand I hope you come back in the Atlantic division but honestly can you expect an owner to stay in Maine with the attendence you are getting and in fact Bathurst maybe out drawing you.

I mean in the last two weeks Halifax has kept teams like CB and Drumm to 1 or 2 goals and then allow 5 against Lewiston. That happens with teams at this age... they play a lesser team, think things will be easy so they let up and allow goals.

I am not sure but perhaps the attendence might be a bit better if you were in the atlantic I am missing photoguys shots of the game.
