The Super One is too impatient . Legault now with Adam and Horyl and Hertzberg down to the 3rd line with Aston and Taylor ..............this is just like last year all over again !

wow, interested to read about this one. I just read the refs played a big role. Either way, its nice to know they are beatable.

Was at the game today. Great effort by the Eagles today, and they deserved the win. In fact, I felt both games the Eagles played a very strong team game. Reffing was bad but we're all used to that. I wouldn't blame the officiating for this one though, the Dogs were outworked for most of the game. The Lagace goal is still a head-scratcher, but the ref spent a long time on the phone, and called it a goal which overturned his on-ice call. Apparently after the game there were some off-ice officials who still disagreed with the goal. Strange to say the least. Lagace looked like he just got a gorilla off his back when they announced it as a goal, and the entire Eagles bench erupted - I think they were happier for Lagace scoring than they were for having taken the lead! Eagles that stood out for me today: Ellis played a VERY strong game. I thought he was their best performer, smart plays and using the body well. Roy was his normal self once he got past the first 10 minutes. He shut the door in the third. I thought Piskacek was very steady too. Adam, well what can I say? Always a threat, fun to watch. Finally, Lagace played a better game today, even had he not scored the goal he did. Not great, but played well. Legault, not so good. I thought he was great on Friday, but today he seemed to play tired or lazy, not sure which. At any rate, the difference was that on Friday he was making gritty, hard-nosed plays that made him a threat all game, while today he was committing penalties. Three minor penalties, could have been 2 or even 3 more to be honest. The Eagles won in spite of Legault today. Good luck the rest of the way you guys! Hard road in front of you but if the team can play like they did this weekend you never know what might happen. I for one hope the Dogs draw the ROcket in the first round, rather than the Eagles.

Huge win today. Good to see Lagace pot the winner and the Eagles finally get a win against Saint John. Two solid efforts against the top team in Q. They must have built on the positives from Fridays game.
