Bad.....Bad Weather and a Wednesday Night .........will result in a small crowd folks ! ......but those who show up are the Die Hards . The Boys are coming off arguably their biggest win of the year and will be home hoping to pick up these 2 games this week at the Centre . Perhaps Bernard and Legault have some old friends from their former team that they will give a hockey version of a welcome to Cape Breton . I don't know much about the Shawinigan Team but I hope ethey travelled Yesterday .Lets hope the Weather eases up this afternoon (as predicted) and the game will be a go . Cancellations are all over the Radio but it takes a lot to cancel a game as I only remember one or is it two ...........oh well stay tuned !

The weather is really not that bad - it really shouldn't affect the attendance very much. What could affect the attendance a bit though is the big basketball games out at CBU tonight. St F X is in town, and that's always the most anticipated game of the year, especially the men's game. However, I'll take the over at much higher than 2999 - it's season ticket redemption night, so there should be at least a good 3500 bodies in the building. The paid attendance though, yeah that might be closer to the over/under.

Sounds like Olivier Oulette left Shawinagan. He also quit on Saint John this for lack 1st line ice time. Wonder what his excuse is now.

*Over / Under was based on a further 10 cm's of snow expected this afternoon that was changed later ! Weather is clear and with all the white stuff ..............it's a great night for Hockey ! If this Woodworth turns out to be another Pardy it will be a real steal , from what I have seen of him he looks like he has an offensive flair !

Morgan Ellis is only 17 years old folks , very deserving last night of 1st star . I personally thought that this Dionne kid was skating better than I have seen him skate since he got here , big body with a presence ...........watching Legault might be having an effect on the youngster . Nice Win but Revenge is needed come Friday against a hard working Mouse Team .

Yes, nice goal by Ellis and Dion was very noticeable with good hits, same with Legault. Lagace had some nice rushes and a good assist, but would be good if some of those rushes ended up in goals.
Overall seemed another average effort as we let them in it way too long. We were double them in shots most of the game yet only ahead by a goal or so. Near the end I felt we were lucky to get the win.
Crowd didn't seem into it much unless prompted. A bit bigger crowd due to redemption night....anyone hear the announced attendence?

I also like what I saw from Lesieur last night .....he's gonna be another Brannon type who flourishes away from here ! i'll bet he doesn't come close to matching the impact of a Scott Brannon nor even enter the same atmosphere as the goal stats for Brannon... Lesieur will be lucky to ever hit 20 goals in the Q and I bet he is not even in the league at 19... how's that?

He has five goals now but really isn't showing much progress in Shawininigan either. I had high hopes for this kid last year and I thought he could score 20 this year. He really isn't playing that well and seems to struggle down low. He will have to do a lot of work in the off seasons to get to 20
