Kinda sad to see all the boards starting to close up. I liked to look at them perhaps on a weekly basis.
I believe they were more personal with things more related to your own individual team.
This board is a nice addition, but theres no place like home.

This is a much better system for everyone who follows the league as a whole. If you ONLY follow your team, then that's fine, you can still do that here. But for people like myself who try to follow the entire division this setup is ideal, I have every board under 1 URL, and 1 login for every board.
This board will grow to be very successful, much more so then any individual board could have been anyway.

I agree with that competely. A lot of the time there are subjects that I would like to comment on but by the time you registered and stuff it was too old. Now we can agree to disagree on all boards with the ability to have differing opinions from all teams. We just wanted better real estate so we picked up and moved. But each team still has their space where you can discuss that team. I really enjoy this instead of having to go to each teams site and seeing who has been posted on and who hasn't. It's going to be an interesting season I think.

Guys, the team boards look almost exactly like the old ones. In fact the only real difference is the QMJHL East Division banner at the top.
Saint John has their own distinct look, as does Bathurst, Cape Breton, and on Moosetalk it's like it's Christmas year 'round.

...and on Moosetalk it's like it's Christmas year 'round. Until Voracek sticks in Columbus... then the holiday season will be over.

Haha yeah the red/green is pretty prominant right now... once the page fills up in posts it isnt as noticeable because the border colors arent so close... if it is, we need to change it it primarily green I think.

Didn't you know, Halifax is such a great spot, it always feels like Christmas! (unless you fall in the harbour or get swarmed)

So....... I'd say so far the combined board idea has been a huge hit.... During what is typically the slowest period of the year, there have been 2100 posts since Monday! The main Q board makes it really easy to get tons of feedback on stuff.
Just wait till games get going, training camps etc... seems like the combined board will be able to keep some boards off life support, which is where they were headed. Cool to see big threads filled with so many regulars from around the division, rather than 80% of the home teams posters, and 20% other...
