Looks like it should be a great crowd... hopefully a fun game.
MVP - Knotek Rookie - My guess is Abeltshauser... maybe Gelinas Unsung Hero - My vote would say Bety. As their 20 year old, Bahm wouldn't surprise me but I say Bety.

Had to leave before the third period... up to that point, moose played really well, had most of the good scoring chances, a few 3 on 2`s etc... I walked out thinking that 3-1 game could have been 4 or 5-1 but the moose missed on quite a few opportunities like 5 on 3`s and (forget who) a mini-breakaway that we PASSED on to a guy not yet in the play enough Those missed chances kept it a 2 goal game and I worried it wouldnt be enough. Another good game against a top team though..another close loss.

Well that whole game was pretty much our season in a nutshell. Play hard, play well against a better team, have a chance to win........yet lose. Dissapointing to have so many games go that way this season. We deserved to have a hell of a lot more than 13 wins, I can tell you that.
The draft can't come soon enough. It will be a turning of the page for this organization. So much of what happened last year and this year were from the Marchand deal, and that whole disaster of a year. Plus all the years of not trading guys off to re-stock, trading away draft picks...it all came together to give us two long, frustrating seasons. Last years draft was a good start, and this years will hopefully be just a good, or better. A new generation for this team. I'm looking foward to it

Is that what they called them? Hannah may be fearless but he's not a fighter. More like a wrestler. Costello's was a bit better and he was the clear victor against Trask but certainly not a slugfest.

Lemieux did well but really Bety should have got that.

These awards are a bigger joke than the performance of this team over the past two years and the next few to come. As for amyot as best defencemen and lemieux as unsung hero, we all know that these selections were out in left field. The selection that i find hard to understand is the choice of randell for best defensive forward .He led the leaque for the second year in a row with a - 31 ( last year -35 ). This has to be a mistake for i do not care what line he plays against. you just can't give such an award to a player who is a - 66 and counting over the last two years. Then again why should i be surprised for we all know who made the choices and if you can't coach a team , how can any one expect you to make sensible decisions when it comes to handing out awards.

Randell didn't lead the league with a -31, Taylor Lambke is -48.

Randell didn't lead the league with a -31, Taylor Lambke is -48. They don't deal with facts so no point in pointing them out to Donger or Adam. ;D
