Where did Delmas come from originally? What was his route to the mooseheads? 2006-07: Delmas made the Lewiston MAINEiacs as the backup goaltender out of training camp, with the expectation that he would not see much playing time, and give star goaltender Bernier the occasional off day. Delmas, however, ended up being thrown into the fire in the second half of the season, after Bernier went down with an ankle injury for several weeks. As Lewiston jockeyed for playoff position, Delmas stepped in admirably, playing calm and cool under pressure against all comers, keeping the MAINEiacs in the hunt. When Bernier returned to the line-up, Delmas headed back to the bench, but he had given the coaching staff plenty of reason to be optimistic. He finished the regular season with an impressive record of 23-10-1, and was named to the QMJHL All-Rookie Team, coupled with an appearance in the 2007 Memorial Cup. 2007-08: With QMJHL Lewiston, Delmas compiled a 17-17 record and ranked fourth in the league with a 2.84 GAA and tied for seventh with a .903 SV%. He participated in the 2008 CHL Top Prospects Game, picking up the win after stopping 13-of-15 shots in 32:35 of action. Delmas posted a 2-2-0 record and a 2.76 GAA while starting in all four games for Team Canada at the 2007 Under-18 Memorial of Ivan Hlinka Tournament. He was ranked as the No. 3 goaltender in North America by NHL Central Scouting in its final rankings for the 2008 Entry Draft. 2008-09: Delmas had a rough year for Lewiston, posting a .867 save percentage in 58 games. 2009-10: Started the year with the Quebec Remparts, but was traded to the Halifax Mooseheads. Put up better numbers with Halifax You shouldn't copy info from the Hockey's Future site without crediting it to them. (Technically you shouldn't even copy it, just paraphrase or provide a link)

I'd keep Delmas as a 20 if he doesn't stay in Colorado; Corbeil is still only 19 and can use the help still there both good goalies and I have a feeling they'll be splitting time next season!!! Theriault-Corbeil will probably get drafted and there is a cahnce he is not around at 20, therefore it would be dumb to keep both(assuming Delmas is not signed...and doesn't stick in Colrado ;D )and not develop a young goalie. Agree 100%, the team really must decide what route they want to take in nets. Keeping the status quo, for the upcoming season is the wrong answer. For starters, I would trade Delmas and draft a young goalie with a decent pick (we could because things will get crowded if we use our 1st 5 picks on forwards and D)

Yeah its a tricky situation dont want to give up Corbs and than have Delmas go AHL. Could always give Corbs to PEI for Duffy. Rockets will have 2 20 year old goalies next year. Like it or not Duffy is coming to Halifax. We can argue all we want on that one but its just a matter of time. With this local boy hopefully we wont sell to much like we did for Marchand.
Should be noted I like both our goaltenders, but lifes not like that cant keep both really not practicial.

I wouldn't trade Corbs; we'll have a good team mid-pack and playoff worthy next season he's part of the future.(Delmas will probably be in camp till the Dec trade period then get traded if he doesn't start in the AHL or the ECHL)
