You keep using the "situations aren't identical" line whenever it suits your argument. No 2 situations are ever 'identical'. But situations can be similar. These 2 situations are 'similar' in that there is off ice stuff regarding both players. How much the teams want to put up with the off ice stuff remains to be seen. Downplaying one situation and trumping up the other is merely team bias. Management tolerance is the key in both situations. Moncton has never been known to put up with these distractions. Halifax on the other hand has traded for these distractions (Marchand, Clarke). Their tolerance is higher than Moncton's. What's similar is that in both cases the players' are on a pretty short leash for next year. If Kabanov even comes to Moncton. His leash would have to be quite long to reach all the way to Russia.

He doesn't even want to live in Russia let alone play there. I think the issue from Flynn's end is is it going to be a circus if he comes back and gets good ice time and PP time.

I have no problem with the Kabanov topic... on the Moncton board; the thing is somebody has to divert attention away from his team's problem and insists on crapping on Clarke and says Clarke is just as big or bigger a problem for the Moose while Kabanov is not even close to being a problem for the Cats. I think the condition is called homeritis
