Love the sound of this guy, the fact we`ve had good success with Czech players, and that he should be here for 3 years. I do worry about the PIM`s though, Cam has shown he will bench guys for undisciplined play, but then he drafts a guy who could give him lots of headaches in that regard. High skill and plays with an edge... will likely turn into a fan favorite but probably a few dirty hits are on the way too The question is: are those PIM due to dirty hits? Or was he playing North American style and being penalized for hits that would be clean here? Can you even play the North American style in the Q anymore? There were several clean hard hits that were penalized last season......

Tell me about it, if you catch a guy with his head down you get called for a hit to the head and get suspended for 10 games

Twitter and Cam are indicating they don't have a deal with Frk ... I'm sure that is just a formality. But why don't they have a deal yet ? I could see if they were picking 12th and he fell that far and they took him on an outside shot at landing him ... but picking 3rd you should have a pretty good idea on who you'll get and whether or not he will report. Does Cam mean ... "we don't have all the details worked out yet ... he told us he'll play here ... and we'll iron that all out now that we have his rights". According to Palov, it's "minor contract issues back home, no big deal"

If the Mooseheads do not sign an agreement with Frk to play in Halifax, people, you will not have to worry about how he got his penalty minutes !

Usually if a guy plays physical and with an edge as he`s advertised, he will get the odd hit from behind, knee or elbow major lol

I think the peanlty totals are overblown, I believe they still count 10 min misconducts...so lets assume he had 5 of those, that brings his PIM total down considerably.

Wuest reported that he tends to get too rambunctious and has been suspended as a result in the past. Either way, I dont think he will come in and only take the odd tripping or hooking penalty

No doubt the penalty minutes are something to consider but I'd love to see Cam get him here this summer.. He's just the ticket for this team right now and not being eligible until the 2012 draft makes him even more attractive.

Now they just have to move a goalie, pick up an asset on D or another pick for next year... and we are finally starting to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Have to be pretty excited about the young forwards we have coming up.

Willy Palov is reporting on his twitter site that the top two on the Moosehead's list are both 17 year old Czechs. So one must be Frk; who is the other? I highly doubt that...there seems to be a HUGE drop after Frk, in terms of Czech forwards... According to Palov, the second choice was Petr Beranek, rated 16th for the 2011 NHL draft.

In the under 18 tournament he only had 6 pims in 6 games so not a big deal though I hope he brings some sandpaper and physicality... that was one component really missing from our forwards and especially top 6 forwards last year.
In the draft list it shows him as a LW but I believe he's a right shot. It will be interesting to see where everyone falls positionally... who will centre the first line, etc...
