Logan has a medical problem and I don't think that posters should be speculating on his performance without the facts, give the kid a break.

I feel lumped in with the rest of the out-of-towners ... but my comment was not a shot at LM. You aren't going to cry now are you? I thought you thrived on being labelled a troublemaker Sure I do ... but in this case I was simply making the point that he was dealing with a problem that was more important than playing hockey.

Or perhaps we just dont care enough to take shots at a kid who has had some off ice issues... I feel lumped in with the rest of the out-of-towners ... but my comment was not a shot at LM. Yea I know...yours wasnt really who I was directing my comment to, but i was too lazy and didnt want to type out "out of towners, except Steve"

However, that doesn't change the fact that his stock has fallen, whether it's related to his "medical problem" or not. Bad pick by Burke. No question about it.

I highly doubt his medical condition caused him to be a dumb ass and drink and drive. And if his medical condition is what was suggested on here, him drinking at all makes him a dumb ass.

Led to...the guy committed a crime and his punishment was to miss a couple of months of hockey until his dad arranged a side deal (so that he wouldn`t actually have to pay for what he did). Since he signed his contract, he`s been nothing but a prima donna, despite being a supposed (character) player.
God forbid someone say something negative about an adult who put other people`s lives in danger

I don't know what suggestion you're referring to, but you won't be seeing any suggestions posted here unless referenced with a credible media link. Please, everyone take note of the bolded part. Thanks.

God forbid someone say something negative about an adult who put other people`s lives in danger It happened a while ago, and im not condoning it, but we all do stupid things over the course of our lives. Good thing for you, no one really cares about your life so when you did something stupid in your younger years there weren't a bunch of 30 somethings posting about it on a Hockey forum.

I`d just be a whole lot more comfortable with it if his dad hadn`t arranged the contract with Abbotsford (and send the wrong message to his son). The difference between most of us and Logan is that 1) most of us probably have licenses (he was cited for driving without a license as well), 2) most of us didn`t do it while we were underaged to drink, and 3) most of us didn`t do it when we had large contracts where the only real condition is don`t do anything too stupid.
Hopefully he learns from this, but having his dad subvert Anaheim`s punishment does nothing for Logan.

The crime is a crime...it doesnt matter under what conditions...he has an NHL contract, does that make what he did worse? Go call MADD and see if they agree with you. You need to find proof that this deal was dad's doing...otherwise its just another 'briwhel talking out of his ass' post.

Hopefully he learns from this, but having his dad subvert Anaheim`s punishment does nothing for Logan. He couldn't play for Abbotsford without Anaheim's blessing.

And yet there were virtually no consequences for the crime...amazing. Go call MADD? What authority are they? His NHL contract basically prevented him from having to deal with any of the consequences any member of this board would have faced? Why would I need proof that a Calgary scout convinced Anaheim to lend Logan to their minor league affiliate when Anaheim SUSPENDED him. Clearly something happened that caused Calgary to be interested in borrowing young Logan
