I hate doing this, but...
Eight former player names, one former player name spelled correctly. Good grief.

Or perhaps we just dont care enough to take shots at a kid who has had some off ice issues... Only speaking for myself sometimes its not taking shots, its more of discussing the facts and your feelings. I do realize their kids etc etc. But you watch their developmentt and see how much potential they have. For Moose fans who love the game of hockey it is a great experience to see guys like Gigure, Tangy's, Vorcek etc develop. But at the same time you get frustrated the ones that dont. To piss away such God given talent, and oppurtunity does cause a reaction. Some people would kill for that type of situation. For your Boutin, MacMillians, and whoever else has cause discussions have been given alot of oppurtunities and chances. While your David Brines, jermemy Duchense, and of course the Great Jody Shelly have fought to make their place. I think its crazy to go through life being frustrated with others who don`t satisfy what YOU wanted for them. I enjoyed MacMillan as a player, I was hoping to see him have a good career. If he went off track, thats his life, his challenges and/or his decisions. I dont feel mad at him in anyway. Its his life. You could take amazing pictures, a real skill in photography. But maybe you only like doing it as a hobby, but also enjoy your job in city planning and also hiking on the weekends and working out. Its not right that someone who loves your photography and wants more of it, develops an anger towards you in some way because you wont ignore everythign else and just do what you have a skill for.

Not really. But I can't be pleased. Dont worry I had quoted it before the delete. So enjoy the spelling abuse for all of eternity! It was laziness, I usually double check and word properly. But i spend all the time on my post than some Muppet takes 1 sentence or word from the post and spins the whole thread. I am not saying you but just in general.

Can't a mod just lock this thread before it gets more ridiculous then it already has? It's a waste of a thread now, will always be a waste to read so just end it before it goes any further.

I thought there wasn't supposed to be any discussions of players' personal lives on the boards. I'm shocked the posts in this thread have not been deleted. Or since he's a former player, it's a different rule? [begin mod post] I have been following this thread, as it is close to crossing the line. The only thing that has been stated is the DUI, which is public knowledge and he was arrested because of it. The personal issues he has dealt with which caused him to take a break haven't been mentioned. It is only been stated "personal issue" which is all that has been reported in the news. We don't follow a different set of guidelines for ex players, but to be honest nothing that is posted in this thread wasn't already posted in the paper. Well minus briwhel complaining about his dad...but honestly does anyone take anything briwhel says as fact or as logical? So while the thread has approached the line, maybe even straddled the line it hasn't crossed it (IMO). Let me know if you disagree, also it is possible that I missed something that shouldn't have been said - so let me know if that is the case as well. You're right. I didn't realize news of his arrest had been public knowledge, since I've never seen anything in the media. My fault- also the first few posts, I thought they were talking about the incident a few years ago, but then I reread and realized that they were talking about the DUI. Carry on... ;D
