Just so we can get away from the L M thread, here's one to get everyone onto a different and more current topic.......
Which player(s) will be traded before the home opener?

I'd say Dalmas and Demitrik Delmas and Dimitruk even. But I'd say Corbeil and Dimitruk. They might try to shop Wiggington, Smith, and Costello as well, or they will probably be FA"s.

I think the following will be available at some point of the process, Dimitruk, Delmas, Bety, Grondin, Orr, Wigginton, Costello, McGuigan, Blois, Matheson and maybe Pelletier ( if he can't stick on D) also Clarke (if he can't be controled).

If he shows up to play to his capability then he's probably a good choice for next June's draft.

Corbeil would, likely, bring the biggest windfall of any of the names mentioned, and if Halifax is going for it in '11-'12, then moving him and giving Terenzio (assuming he adapts well to the Q) a third of the games with Delmas seeing the better part of the starts would be the best idea.
I'd love to keep Bety, but there just isn't the space, so I'd hope for a pick in the 4th-6th range.
Was it a 9th that we moved for Wigginton? Probably won't be space for him in the back end of the lineup either, so perhaps someone would offer something similar in return.
Clarke's value was highest at the draft, I'd say. If he comes to camp again with an iffy attitude, then he'd probably end up being moved for pennies on the dollar. Hope that isn't the case, though.
The rest probably have no trade value.
On another note, what's up with Grondin? He's been lost in the shuffle despite being only 18 (right?)... any word on his coming to camp? How did he fare in the second half of the season playing in midget?

Grondin played Jr AAA not Midget, after Halifax sent him down. He had some horrendous numbers but its rare that a goalie puts up a .900 save% in that league. Grondin isnt in the plans and I doubt any other team will take a flyer on him.
Clarke...the window of opportunity to trade him was at the draft...I cant see him beign traded during camp. Im sure Cam will re-asses the situation come Christmas.

Just got to looking over the possible forwards that could make up our 2010/11 team and it looks better than I thought could there be a possibilty that we will have to trade some younger players to ensure proper development for all and this does not include Bety and the experienced forward we were going to trade for, the current possibilities are: LEFT WING, Frk, Desjardins, Gelinas, Ciampini and MacDonald. CENTRE, Grant, Andrews, Boudreau, Ryan, Turbide and Dube. RIGHT WING, Randell, Ashley, Lemieux, Vecchione, Souligny and Davis. As one other posted stated it appears that we got the 'motherload' in the 2010 drafts.
