I'm trying to remember what the consensus was about the 2 divisions; West and East, last year. I'm thinking that most posters thought that the West was stronger except for the top 3 teams in the East which were considered by most as Lewiston, Bathurst and Cape Breton.
Does anybody know the actual results of last year's interlocking games?
Also what is the feeling this year about the relative strengths of the 2 divisions?
I'm wondering if interlocking points will be harder to get this year for the East teams, before I make my predictions on final points.

Bathurst weren't even close to Lewy or CB last year. As for which division was better, it's pretty hard to say given how few times the teams played between divisions. I would say that the West was more evenly matched last season while the top teams in the East were a couple steps ahead of the rest.

Krang7, I meant that last year at this time most posters thought that Lewiston, Cape Breton and Bathurst were the 3 strongest teams.
Predictions last year were probably just as far off as this year's will be.

Seems as though this season, the East is expected to have three real strong contenders in Halifax/Lewy/Bathurst, as well as a potential darkhorse (if Savard/Jean disappear into a black hole maybe ) in PEI. As well, the expansion cousins should be much improved this year over their first two years......... you'd like to think anyway. The West should be deep and competitive as well, but I'm not sure if their top three contenders will be as strong as the East's top three.
