Bonne nuit! #lhjmq 3 minutes ago Ok the last name was right...the position and team was not lol... I heard it was JF Leblanc of VDO lol...ah well...Cedric Leblanc is a good pick up...wonder why Moncton would deal him.

Pffft... you got us excited for Cedric Leblanc.
But now we're at 16 forwards. Something else coming up for sure.
Roy must be tired of seeing Quebec as the less penalized team. He acquired 219 of penalty minutes (Malouin, Leblanc).

Too many forwards...making room to give more ice time to the younger guys like Malone, Penny, Lalonde, Shea, etc. That's my guess anyway. Leblanc was also the lone returning forward that played in the rookie scrimmages this past week which may have been an indication that he had fallen out of favour here.

Which former QMJHL player would you compare him to?

Which former QMJHL player would you compare him to? Im not big on comparisons...but he is a north/south winger who isnt going to run you over but he does work the boards, plays with grit...not a natural offensive threat but is opportunistic. Likely a good 3rd line RW

Mem Cup is Victoriaville's. But thanks for your kindness. Anyway, you can blame Lala for this. ;D

He's not bad but he probably projects to be a crash and bang 3rd line winger that can chip in on offence...the kind of player that grows on trees for the Cats That said I would have preferred for them to trade a 19 year old like Trask to make room for the younger guys.

Why is Girard still there?? Is he having an amazing camp or something? Yep. I don't think anyone expected him to, refering to his play last year.

He really had an amazing camp.
I don't think he'll be more than the 13th-14th forward though. He's easier to keep than a 16 yo. Roy sent Lamarre, C. Dubé and Bouillon to MAAA. The three of them also had a good camp. I really think he thought about keeping C. Dubé but he's coming out of Midget AA. One year in MAAA will probably help him and he is only at 136 lbs...
