Culkin didn't play more than 5 games before Christmas.
We'll see. They can still send him back. I've got the idea that maybe Tam and/or Barnard won't spend the whole year in Quebec...

He played 17 games in 2010 and 23 in 2011...its not like he sat around for half the year and than you decided to play him.

Well... I don't know. I just think they must have a plan other than letting him rot in the stands for a whole season. And Duke, Werthner, Archambault and Boily are still battling for the 5-6th spot.

Some news about Grigorenko.
He's great... real great... I didn't think he would have that much impact in his first two games.

That's too be expected imo...he is arguably the 1st overall pick for 2012.

I don't know. Yakupov looks more like the consensus #1 right now. He has proven his value, not Grigorenko. And they are very different players. Yakupov is a sniper while Grigorenko plays the game like Joe Thornton. Yakupov looks more dynamic than Grigorenko. We'll see. But Grigorenko will always have the 'He plays in the Q, so his stats are inflated'...

I agree with you but I have seen a few early scouting reports that have Grigorenko as #1

I agree with you but I have seen a few early scouting reports that have Grigorenko as #1 Yakupov is 5'10 and 170 lbs. Grigorenko is 6'3 and 195 lbs. And I actually think he might be taller than that. QMJHL site says 6'2 but he looks like at least 6'3 and maybe more. I saw him beside Louis Domingue and he looked a bit taller. It clearly gives Grigorenko an advantage on Yakupov.

I've seen draft sites that have Grigorenko as low as 4th. But that website has Grogorenko playing for CSKA in the KHL and Marty Frk playin for Drummondville But I think Murray will go first cuz the Isles need a D. Regardless of that I think he'll go ahead of Yakupov. Either way you slice it, you've got a special talent on your hands. Not as good as the Mooses'

What makes you think the Isles will be having the 1st overall pick.? Recent history?? The same case can be made for the Oilers to take a defenceman as of now if they were to pick #1 overall.

#1 overall is a little tough to project ...
Gigorenko is obviously one of the names to be included but it's pretty early ... Nail Yakubov Filip Forsberg Alex Galchenyuk
Some very good D going to be available too ...
Ryan Murray Jacob Trouba Nick Ebert Griffin Reinhart Olli Maata Matt Dumba

Its too early to really be talking about which teams are going to pick which players...there are TONS of good players for 2012...its a super deep draft...anything can happen...
