I'm looking to make upgrades at any position... I already have plenty of decent parts to offer and will at least listen to any offer though obviously certain players are less likely to be dealt than others (Dea, Saulnier and Trainor topping that list). And Porkchop... had I seen your offer in time, I would've made an offer for Girard that you probably would've liked. Serves me right for going on vacation. Seeing as how Draper is posting in the pool sub-forum I'm assuming the behind the scenes poll we started to get him kicked out due to inactivity didn't go through? BB could you confirm?

Sorry... unlike teams based in Northern NB, I don't make moves for the sake of making moves.

Dorchester seems pretty intent on selling the farm for this year...
Therefore Sable Island must do the same! I may consider Carrier or Dunn as futures, as I've got a lot of interest in those guys... I also hope we're allowed to do futures deals, as that would suck of we couldn't for me lol.
All picks otb, Dunn, Carrier and Cadorette as possible future players.

I was wondering the same thing re: futures... for all I know some of us do have future deals in the works. I couldn't see us not being able to do them... just a matter of individual teams keeping tabs on who they have earmarked for other teams the following season. Also, I hear Sable Island is a terrible reneger on future deals.

BB stated in another thread that they are allowed but like the Q each trade must be able to stand on their own. For example: Sending a 5th rounder at the draft for Drouin-Mackinnon-Fucale won't work.
He said he will keep tabs if you want.

Quispamsis has Godin on the trading block. I have 2 5ths and futures to offer.

Futures are fine, but as Pens said, at least try to make the deals attempt to stand on their own. It looks better, plus it protects you against people renegging - or not coming back.
I'll keep a list for anyone who wants me to, but, I won't use that list to approve trades. If you tell me that Player X is promised to team Y, then deal player X to team Z, that's gonna be your problem.

Souris is looking for a high-end U20 forward. Payment will likely be in futures, though I do still have a first round pick available.

Miramichi is willing to listen to offers on both of their overage players in Brandon Hynes (comes in 58 varieties thus making him better than anyone named Heinz) and Martin Lefebvre. You may trade for one, or both, but know in advance that Miramichi is insisting upon draft pick(s) as the main component in return. (but are willing to accept a throw in player of the same position for roster balancing purposes).

If you tell me that Player X is promised to team Y, then deal player X to team Z, that's gonna be your problem. I have 2 futures on the way....one for a 3rd and the other for a 5th......may not be the full value of the players, but futures are to basically complete current deals. If you have GM's renegging, on deals, I think, in a pool this small, that would be a recipe to hurt them, more than help them. It wouldn't take other GM's long to block them out of the trading circle altogether. with the guys we have here, I can't see that happening. I also think that list you have, as long as both GM's sent you a note on the future, should be used to make the trade happen......therefore no way to reneg on it. I would think that would be the whole purpose keeping the list.
