So there are rumours abound that these two guys might very well be on the market.. one definitely wants out and one wants to stay but is likely to be squeezed out if the Moose acquire Pelletier as expected.... we all know our team is loking good but could use an upgrade in second line scoring.. both of these guys would provide that.. one might come fairly cheap.. one might cost plenty.. either cost could be abosrbed IMO.. thoughts?

Peters could be a player that would be of some interest, and cost less then Hooper.
39pts last season, and should improve on that by a good margin as a 20 and with solid linemates.
He would be good for our 2nd line, and would help our 3rd line troubles as well.....

He would be good for our 2nd line, and would help our 3rd line troubles as well..... Peters also played a lot of last season with Seymour and either Pouliot, Cote or Smith. Not exactly an offensive role. He did play regularily on the PP. He also went something like 26 games without a goal. He's very streaky, and if he develops any type of consistancy he could get 35-40 goals. He's an aggresive forechecker, and very fast. Not much for passing, but has a nose for the net. If he is dealt, it probably won't happen until early October when the fates of Bryce Swan and Pier-Olivier Pelletier are known (Colby Pridham is also attending Tampa training camp, but should be a lock to return). Halifax would probably ask for more if Peters were to be dealt to PEI, as opposed to a team not in the division, or a team projected to be at the bottom of the Maritime Division.
