Well we finally have it! Castlevania, Arcane, and now The Last of Us. The holy trinity of great video game adaptations.

Binged Alice in Borderland S1 and S2, which was entertaining and weird, and just what I was in the mood for (Japanese, Squid Game/Hunger Games-esque).
Going to subscribe to Crave again soon to watch White Lotus S2, new GOT probably, new Succession, new Barry and check out a few other HBO series's that look interesting, like The Last of Us.

Binged both White Lotus seasons...interesting premise but I thought both seasons were kind of missing something to put the show in the tier of some other HBO greats. Could have been the length as both seasons were short.
So far i'm loving The Last Of Us. Never played the game so can't comment from that angle but it so far to me feels like a better Walking Dead.
I'll even give Netflix some props for That 90's Show. I thought it would be way more harder to watch but they kept the humour actually somewhat relevant for current day teens and have them getting into some of the same situations (drinking, smoking, dating) that it seems current day TV wants us to believe kids that age don't do or think about.

So far it's very faithful to the game minus a couple very minor things. Tess is a bit younger in the game, Joel and his daughter were white, and the virus spread by spores (not tendrils). Some scenes also don't happen in the game but I like it because it provides more background info into everything going on. Nothing major, they've done a brilliant job so far. I was pretty excited for the second episode since we got to see the Clickers.

I like White Lotus, but I agree it isn't what you'd call a GREAT show. It is interesting and well-acted, but the gist of it is just "rich people aren't as happy as they seem". It isn't for everyone, and is very slow at times. But if you like smart social commentary type shows, it is very good in that sense.

It isn't for everyone, and is very slow at times. But if you like smart social commentary type shows, it is very good in that sense. I could see a few reasons why some might not like White Lotus. For example if you really find Jennifer Coolidge to be annoying, there's a lot of her being Jennifer Coolidge. I appreciate though that Mike White gave her more to work with than any other writer ever has and I think she knocked it out of the park. I'm not sure if a binge is the best way to consume the show either. I found watching it week to week better, there's a lot of interesting details about the show that you catch by reading articles about it after each episode. I think some people get caught up too much in the murder mystery of it. The murder mystery is there to draw in the casual viewer but its ultimately more of a character study that has a mystery as the backdrop. I think the theme was a lot deeper in season 2 than just parody of rich people. It was more commentary on the power dynamic in relationships. Specifically the 2 couples that are hanging out both have this sort of game within the game that you catch a lot of things in just their facial expressions. For me with so much to consume and distract us now I use one main metric to decide how much I like a show. Set my phone down and give it as much attention as I can. If I find myself getting bored and wanting to look at twitter or whatever then the show is not that great. This is a show I found I got completely immersed in and 60-70 minutes felt like 15 minutes. I also just love the travel element of the show and the setting, particularly in season 2.

Succession might have produced the best episode of television I've ever seen with season 4 episode 3.

Not sure if anyone added this to the list or not but Shoresy by the creators of Letterkenny is a hilarious comedy series about a struggling senior AAA hockey team in Sudbury
I’ve had to pause it a thousand times to write down and save the chirps / insults to tell the fellas this summer on the golf course
