Congratulations to Clark Bishop on being selected for Team Canada, hoping he does well. It seems that Team Canada and NHL Central Scouting are not on the same page. Julien Pelletier ranked quite a bit higher than Bishop for the upcoming draft yet Pelletier does not get a look for Team Canada roster. Go figure.

You are aware this is the under 18 team right?

I think Bishop is there in large part because he has been on the Team Canada radar for a bit plus he can play a grinding role morreso than Pelletier.

Is that Svechnikov playing for Russia , the kid who "may" come here next year ? If it is , the youngster has some "serious" wheels .

Yes it`s Svechnikov drafted by CB....forget him for next season...he is under contract with KHL team, Lazarev didn`t play for Russia ....rumours that he didn`t come back next season and will play with his friends in the KHL team....will see at the next Import Draft !
