I think Rogers is going about this wrong. Their best audience will be for road games involving Moncton or SJ ... when those larger fanbases will tune in. All games between SJ and Mon, SJ and Bat, and Mon and Bat, should be on TV ... that is 24 games.
People from SJ are probably not going to tune in in big numbers to watch RN at Mon ... and chances are SJ has a game the same night. Many people in Moncton that are interested will probably be at the game and not watching on tv. Plus Rogers has to compete with their own NHL hockey broadcasts.
Their approach seems to lack thought. They could put out a better package that will get them more viewers.
Perhaps the NB teams wanted to put limits on things ... I dunno.
