It's the start of a tough 3 games in 4 nights. If you have Rogers cable, channel 9 will be broadcasting this game in French. Game time 8:30PM Atlantic.

This weekend will be my first live look at the team this year as I'll catch the games in Rouyn and Val d'Or. Looking forward to check out those barns.

Cats power line is getting bottled up by Gatineau and there is a big goose egg on the scoreboard...maybe they can try Dubeau on the 2nd line?
They really miss Johnson, him and Smith were at least a decent #2 line.

Askew was the best player on the ice for the cats tonight. Had several good chances and would have had a beauty assist on a nice feed to Garland had Conor finished it off.

That PP at the end of OT was atrocious. Just a bunch of guys standing around and showing no urgency at all.

They figured they could dick around and let their goalie win it in the shootout! No need to take risks.

I was talking to a scout at the game who said the Barbashev line got ridiculous minutes for forwards, maybe it caught up to them in OT. They do take long shifts also. It's a good time to play Gatineau with 7-8 guys out of the lineup...
