I agree, it's ok to be a niche NHLer, cause at the end of the day, your still an NHLer, and being paid as such. And it's also ok to be an average NHL'er and be called so by a former fan base who really didn't see anything beyond average during your stint. If I was a Ducks fan saying a 4th line PK guy is average is probably a compliment considering we expect most players coming in as young 4th liners to have more upside and otherwise view it as a wasted roster spot that should go to an up and comer with a high skill level.

Francois Brassard played backup to Ryan Miller last night for the Anaheim Ducks against Ottawa. Good for because with the way he played when he was here I would have been surprised if he made Jr.A

Dubois with a hat trick tonight, will be a 1C in the NHL for a long time. Loved watching him in his 16 and 17 year old season, truly special player.

I think he has 6 months from the time he leaves the league to use his money ... or lose it. I don't think him deciding to play late in the season makes any difference yet.

Yeah nothing happened at all yet, he just is having a tryout basically at this point. Happens all the time to guys and then go to school when next season starts.

Obviously they can't join a USports team in April so why not?
