Looks like the Seadogs got their wake up call last night..
They're leading 3-0 in the first.
Any comments on the Tibbo fight ?

MJ got a head start on Tibbo on the fight after he took a dogs head off, lunged right at his head. Not a bad fight. hard to tell a winner. Maybe edge MJ or Draw. Dubeau looked awful. Russians were invisable. Only guys I noticed were Johnston and Lalonde. Funny when Auger was in a scrum, Dubeau went to about centre ice and challenged Auger to a fight. Bad idea IMO. Auger is a crazy lil fucker and has been looking to fight for the last 2 seasons. Would have liked to see it.

EDIT: It was an automatic 10-game suspension for a goalie fighting but there is no longer mention of it in the rulebook.

Yes. Actually a few guys i was talking to said they wouldn't mind. Dubeau gone for 10 games, they are supposed to be trying to win the Division. Sea Dogs arnt. Be nice to see the two back ups play! And goalies fought in the playoffs 2 years back and only got 1-2 games. But i know about the rule. But sea dogs will slow down so wouldnt mind seeing Dugan and Dixon.

The Cats "lost" that game more than SJ won it. They played pathetic...nothing looked right with the Cats tonight. They didn't skate, their passes were weak, in the skates or off the mark altogether. A dismal performance all around. Garland deserved his benching after the 4-1 goal but many others played terrible as well...a good 'ol fashion bag skate would be in order. Extremely disappointing night but they will re-group and rebound. I honestly don't see how the SJ is a #9 ranked CHL team...a couple good prospects and one of the better goalies in the Q but nothing more than that.

Don't worry, the SeaDogs don't need any credit from you. A convincing home ice victory over the Wildcats to grab first place again should do just fine.

You enjoy that 1st place all you want I gave some credit to a few of your beloved puppies...I'm more importantly suggesting we played like shit. As did your 1st place Dogs 24 hrs ago. I didn't pound my 1st place chest last night when your asses were handed to you... Your arrogance is laughable...carry on oh supreme one. LOL...

We pounded our first place chests tonight and Irving shook his head, put it down and left the building early. Was a great sight to see! Wonder why he wasnt yelling behind the bench tonight? lol. In all seriousness though, Moncton looked 5 times better than the dogs last night.

Don't think either team should be pounding their chests after this weekend. How weird was that? I disagree that Moncton's Russians were invisible tonight. That is only 1/2 true. I thought Tkachev looked good and not just because he scored Moncton's only goal. Barely noticed Barbachev tonight though.

Oh and Dubeau never crossed the blue line. As entertaining as it would have been to see Dubeau vs. Auger, I'm pretty sure both teams and their fans are glad it never happened.

It was indeed a strange weekend...15 goals scored in 2 games with 2 of top goalies in the league. Barbashev did struggle as well whereas Tchakev did play fine, but he was alone out there...

We'll enjoy it while we can, and like it or not the Dogs did win that game, they dominated Moncton much like they were dominated the night before. And I'm not gonna say that SJ lost that game more than Moncton won it. That kind of comment is what is laughable around here. Regarding arrogance - lol you heard that you shouldn't throw stones if you live in a glass house, right? And I'm not a chest-pounder, I'm too civilized for that. By the way, are you a Milan Lucic fan?

He was all over him as soon as he stepped on the ice. He took all playing room away from Barbachev effectively neutralizing the Moncton forward.

I think our main problem is they were trying to be too fancy, and not playing phyiscal, St John was allowed to go in behind our net and never being checked, they went behind the net and just looked around for someone to feed the puck, we realy need to start playing more phyiscal.
