The Halifax Mooseheads will be without Captain Ryan Falkenham for the next six-to-eight weeks after the 19-year-old suffered a lower body injury in Saturday loss to the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles.
Falkenham left during the second period and did not return.
Meantime, Centre Brett Crossley will be sidelined indefinitely with a concussion. The rookie took a hit along the boards from Cape Breton's Pierre-Luc Dubois in Friday's Mooseheads victory at Scotiabank Centre.
Dubois has been suspended until further notice by the QMJHL for elbowing to the head.

Falkenham can't catch a break. I wonder if it's a recurrence of his hip injury. If so, at this point I hope he can heal enough to have a long CIS career after he's done with junior.

He had two separate surgeries if I recall correctly which caused him to miss the last 54 games + playoffs last year.

Poor kid can't catch a break, Ehlers can't be traded has a no trade clause I ready somewhere, and I doubt we'd trade Meier Euro's are harder to trade as you can only have 2. I could see us maybe trading Fucale for another goalie as much as it would kill me.
From what I'm hearing from inside sources Crossley won't be out long, but you don't want to play with concussions.

I remember seeing falkenham blocking a shot on Saturday limped afterwards. Maybe it's a broken foot bone?
