7 defence dressed, again. Why? Dress 6, put three pairs together, let them play together, let them develop chemistry.
I'm not a McIntyre fan, however I have to cut the kid some slack - to throw big hits you have to know your partner is backing you up - when you never know who your partner is going to be, you won't have the confidence to step up.
Dumont doesn't coach to win - he coaches to survive - and it doesn't work.

Anyone notice wht Dumont did to cause the third goal. If not, our fourth line was on the ice and spent about a minute and a half in our own end and brassard covered the puck foa a face off Armmada changed up and put their top line ion while Dumont left our fourth line on after being hemmed in our end. Ten seconds after the face off, they scored. Asleep at the wheel or what?

Can't blame Brassard for last night, he played pretty well but when we run around and get lost in our end chances are gonna come for the other team. 5 goals allowed. 12 saves. It's at a point where we're actually being too easy on players like him. These results should be unacceptable. When exactly did he play well yesterday? Or even since he's got here? I think he might be our worst #1 goaltender ever.

Darcy pissed off big time after the game . Witnessed him firing his helmet , gloves and stick against the wall moments before the Eagles PR Guy told him he was the 2nd star and he had to do the t-shirt toss . Frustration or Unhappiness....or both . I am glad that he showed some emotion. If I was him I would have did that half a month ago.

There is no sarcasm here I legitimately just want your opinion.

There is no sarcasm here I legitimately just want your opinion. I think all out change is my answer as I don't think simply buying or selling it a proper term for this situation. I'd move anyone but Dubois, Leveille, and the Euro's for the right price. I still think next year should be a target year for major improvement. Wasting a player like Svechnikov without ever seeing a legit run would be an awful waste. If I could move Darcy for a lateral 20 I do it. If I can get anything close to a decent goaltender I send Brassard packing and use that spot on a cheap 20. If a combo of say 2-3 of Drummondville's 1st, Corbeil, L'Italien, and Beaudin can get me a top pairing defenceman for 18 months I'd do it. I'm confident throwing in Lalonde or Bell gets that done but do we move them now? Depends on the player we're targetting I think. There's really no clear answers even though your question is very clear. We just have to hope our GM has never stopped working the phones so he has an accurate gauge on the trade market. Call me crazy but this can still be fixed in time to contend next season. 1 thing I will add is this: If we do an all out sell and just accumulate more assets I think you start to lose the fan base. 1st round picks in the future don't sell tickets or play hockey today. This market deserves a top team and has the players and assets to do it. But does it have the management and coaching?

I think we firstly need a coaching change, bringing in high end talent with this type of coaching is just a waste. IMO, we need the following in order of importance,a good coach, a solid goaltender, two top end defence men and one or two top end forwards. Pretty big wish list but I do not see us competing any other way"

Kelly Hrudey on "Tim & Sid" this afternoon when talking about Edmonton Oilers said that they had done a great job with all their draft picks and that individually their players are all very skilled but collectively as a team, it just doesn't work.
Comparisons can be made between the two teams.

Comparisons can be made between the two teams. Edmonton stinks at drafting but the biggest difference is defense. CB has a talented D core, they're simply young. The only D over the age of 18 is Nosella and he's arguably the 6/7th D with no hope of being an overager.

I wasn't agreeing with everything Kelly Hrudey said but I do see a good comparison between the individual skill levels, defensive play concerns, goaltending issues and things not working for the team as it is at the present time.
