There definitely needs to be a change somewhere......you have too good of a team to be this low in the standings. Goaltending also sucks and should be addressed soon. Sullivan had bad numbers in Jr. A, bad numbers in Bathurst, and continues with bad numbers in CB. Sullivan is a backup being forced into a starting role because the starter is no better. Don't blame Sullivan. yes, I know that......I just mentioned him because the first thread in this game talks about the embarrassing game in Moncton

I heard that too but think it's a pile of shit. What would have happened if Sullivan got hurt and your backup is injured. Shouldn't a team be prepared for that and possibly called someone up to backup Sullivan just incase. I'm hoping that we were told he was injured but in reality they kept him on the bench to avoid possible injury so he can be moved. Wishful thinking?

It is abit odd but you also have to remember its the last game before the break, not sure where your affiliate goalie plays but I highly doubt they wanna call up a kid all the way from Quebec to come sit on the bench while he expected to already be home with his family for the holidays. If you had a nearby callup in Junior A I suppose that could have been an option.

It is not that uncommon ... say the backup is feverish, has stomach flu, bronchitis, sinus infection, etc ... not worth the trouble of bringing in an affiliate for one game ... the backup is well enough to dress ... but not to play unless it is a real emergency (like starter getting injured - in which case backup goes in even if he feels like crap).

You are talking about a sport where 1 or 2 times per year the biggest professional league on the planet which generates billions in revenue every year has to use amateur goaltenders as backups due to circumstances like this. It's a very probable scenario that you're doubting with zero ounce of proof.
