First game of a 3-in-3 to end off the year. Moncton is in a war to get 1st overall and home-ice throughout the playoffs. Halifax as well as every team from 5th-16th are jockeying for the best possible playoff positioning. I don't think this game goes well for us. 6-2 Moncton as I predicted in FNP. Sorry again Bois for going with Moncton.

4-2 Halifax as in FNP, Brassard and Ehlers the show.(Wonder if we'll see both goalies with a 3 in 3)

All the pressure is on the Cats. Brassard is over the rust. Probably a big night for Meier and Danny M. I think the Moose will take advantage early and then cling on - most of these games have come down to a dumb penalty late by a Moose player. Only one game at Moncton was a blowout.

Shocking result so far. Didn't expect a 0-0 game between these two. It would be nice to pull off the upset but I expect a strong third from Moncton.

Nice crowd in Moncton. Was that a sellout?

Nice crowd in Moncton. Was that a sellout? 6,528. If not a sellout, then close to it.

We did what Moncton did when we were a contender - Find a way to win. Just not enough ponies to contend when the big two have an off night. No penalties last night for the Moose. Second time in team history according to herdhistory. Maybe they needed a spark against a big rival.

Second time in team history according to herdhistory. Maybe they needed a spark against a big rival. Lots of stuff they let go .... but the Refs seemed disinterested. You may say that Ehlers and Meier had an off-night .... but from my perspective, the Smith-Burke-Zilbert line just shut them down ... out worked them. They'll have more success when Hfx has last change.
