No injuries as far as I know. But I think the younger guys are going to take a game to get into playoff mode. Shawinigan doesn't have as much playoff experience, but I see them adjusting faster. If emerz is watching, I'll say 11-0 Shawinigan.

Anybody know how good the webcast will be from Shawinigan. I guess its a hit or miss thing. I purchased the playoff webcast full pkg last night. It said $129.99 on the site (I assumed they would add tax) On the email confirmation I received it showed I purchased the package and then it showed this: $129.99 $149.49 --- Why didn't they just show it this way $129.99 + 19.50 = $149.49 ? Last night as usual the Moncton cameras missed much of the action as the camera man/producer decided to show me people sitting in the stands and all the blue empty seats. While play was on. One time the screen split in two and the stuff happening on the left was on the shown on the right and the stuff on the right was on the left. Their camera shot was disjointed. So Barbashev would skate over the blueline vanish and then appear in the middle of my screen taking a shot. I hope someone from the league can look out for us to make sure we get our $129.99 worth.

Halifax is the worst for that stuff ... but any team that use a big screen like Halifax and Moncton do are going to have disjointed broadcasts. I'm not sure why they can't change the feed to eliminate what is happening on the score board. I can't see myself paying for the full playoff package. I purchased a road package for the regular season which served me well. I am a STH so no sense paying for games I will be attending. But purchasing a road package isn't an option for the playoffs ... and neither is a 5 or 10 game pack. I'd probably buy a 5 game pack if it was offered ... vs buying individual games. I won't watch much of the other series my team is not involved in ... and probably would buy a game only when the Cup is on the line (when somebody has 3 wins in the final) ... unless of course my team is still playing. Worst case for me ... if my team made it all the way to the end ... we'd play at most 13 road games ... and as few as 8. At $7 a pop that ranges from $56 to $91. At some point I expect Rogers will pick up a road feed ... they have in past years ... so that can be reduced even more.

$129 for the playoffs alone? That's insane.
No wonder people use hockeystreams.

The funny thing is I can subscribe to Eastlinks Super Sports pack and get all the OHL games on cable for $33 bucks plus tax for the next 2 months plus get all the other sports available on those channels. Even $6.99 per game is too high for watching the feed from the already there in house camera and the already present home or away broadcasts (when they even work)

What a bunch of jokers these guys are in asking for that price for Q hockey. But if you have seen how attached some of these season ticket holders are, it is like the #1 thing going on for them. They would pay it.

Do u know people can actually have a productive life and be a big hockey fan? Do u have trouble doing more then one thing at a time? I still can't figure out why you even post here if being a "fan" is beneath you.

But if I were to play in the CHL, I'd be a soldier, I wouldn't take the Hosh Ho Sang route. But a place like this is for expressing how you really feel.

and yeah I think QMJHL regular season hockey is awful, but it has to show something that I'm willing to buy a ticket where you have 5000 people attending and have to for the best when it comes to seating. So many people I know said "fuck that".
