lol seems kind of odd that Dumont wouldn't go for any interviews after 2 solid road games. Yeah, wonder what this is about? It's not like there has been drama so far in this series.

Not many tickets sold yet for the home games... Just looked around at the seating and it's no different then a Tuesday night game in the middle of the season. But I guess looking at the past you can't really expect much. Coming back home 1-1 though. Hopefully who ever attends the game can feed off the split in Quebec and get behind the team create a good atmosphere at the Nest. Looking forward to it. PS: Are air horns still allowed at C200? Someone told me they were banned league wide but all you have to do is listen to a Baie-Comeau game to realize that isn't true. Do certain rinks have certain regulations? Let's all jam into section 14 during the warm up like old days? lol Traditionally round 1 is right around the season average. I expect tomorrows game ends up right around that number. To most of the Island tomorrows game IS a Tuesday game in the middle of the season. It's been a while since the locals had something to cheer for. It will take more then 1 playoff win on the road to make those people interested again. Even in our best seasons round 1 never drew a large crowd. I wonder if the Thursday/Friday games considering the holiday Friday make a difference at C200. I know Halifax loses incredibly by not having Game 5 on a holiday Friday night at Scotiabank Center. In Nova Scotia nothing is open on Good Friday but hockey. It sould be above average.

Crowds are decreasing league wise. Even in Quebec in the first two games there were 10,000 and 8,600... not a long time ago playoffs meant 12,000+ in Quebec... The Product ?

He is just doing what he wants to do. If he wants to not speak to the media I say he should be allowed to without a consequence.

They should be 3000 if they can show that they are not going to get blown out. But like everyone else said , the reputation of the team is low after the past five years and it will take more than a playoff series to fix it.

Eagles have officially been fined. Not sure how much. Probably peanuts for the first time.

If he wants to not speak to the media I say he should be allowed to without a consequence. It's not like he has to go himself. He could have sent an assistant if he didn't want to go and there would have been no consequence. Like I said, not a big deal, just strange considering they got what they wanted going back to CB with at least a win.

Dumont is playing some mind games no doubt. Pretty funny to hear a story like that as this level.

IMO, sort of childish, what is the difference when the other team practices. If Dumont is involved, he should be worrying more about his own team being prepared as opposed to worrying about the visiting teams practice time.

I'd expect an above average crowd on Friday, maybe even in the 4000 range if it's a 2-2 series. Friday traditionally draws a higher number in almost every rink, especially at playoff time.

Never understood that tactic. Might have worked 40 years ago, but I think teams rally around experiences like this. Gives them extra motivation going into the battle. Why poke the sleeping bear? If I was Dumont (I highly doubt) why go into a swing game 3 and give the opposing team bulletin board material?

I do enjoy the playoff silliness though. Creates some classic soundbites.

I do enjoy the playoff silliness though. Creates some classic soundbites. I like it when it involves a game. This trying to manipulate who practices where is petty but there's been some aspects of it from both sides in the series. A good old fashioned stick measurement is all this series is missing at this point.
