What a change from last year, 10 Americans drafted but not one of them by Moncton. Change in strategy or just a weak year down south?
3 NCAA kids drafted by Moncton though in Dawe, Crossman and O'Leary

It would be a grand slam if he reports. Easily in the conversation as top draft eligible goalie.

I want to hear what Shannon has to say about whether the kids will report. 4 players so far have college commitments and DeStefani is American which means he will likely take some convincing at the very least. Saying that, I think they can get Crossman to come and maybe Dawe.

Roger Shannon and his scouting staff are clearly going for the small, fast, hard working type team. Overall, I would rank today's draft as a 7.5 out of 10. There's more questionable selections but all have high reward.

When you have no 1st round pick and draft a couple of NCAA guys early, they better report or you fall behind other teams.

Problem is we had a 1st round pick and gave it away, for two second round picks, and then gave away the top 2nd round pick, and then we start picking midgets players, I know the smaller players adapt quicker as they are not growing into the larger bodies, but in the end you need more larger players or you are going to be run out of most rinks, I know I am not a scout and don't poses their knowledge, but I truly don't understand all of the smaller players. I think this might be a longer year.
