Halifax doesn't even have a Coach yet. It's pretty hard to even perdit how a team will do with out a coach. Yeah if it Midgley seems to be the front runner but maybe he changes some systems and they don't work as well as Dom's did. A lot of things have to be worked out there now. You mean the new Coach could do worse than missing the playoffs ? Yes they can. They can have a worse PP % then 17.2%, and have a worse PK then75.6%. They could win less then 13 home games and 8 roads games. So once again yes they can be Worse then they were this year.

Right ... but no Brassard .... no Meier, Donaghey, Moynihan, Fitzgerald for half a year ... he doesn't have the same horses to work with through the year. He could actually do better than Ducharme ... make the playoffs ... but have inferior numbers with wins, PP and PK. Doing better with less to work with.

I never said that isn't a possibility I just said that he could be worse then what this year. There is a chance that he can do way better. It's hard to say how good the Moses coach can be without even know who he is yet. That's my point.

Define "significant tumble". Cape Breton's roster is getting ravaged, Charlottetown's situation is not much better. Realistically before getting into any draft picks we're looking at something like: Dubois/Martineau/Fiore Fournier/Carozza/Hoyt Bertrand/Smith/Boucher MacIntyre/Bisson Baillargeon/Green Jessiman Assuming we add a Euro and a veteran goaltender that's not an awful lineup. Assuming Halifax adds a stud European and drafts well they'll be a very young team that will have a great 1st line then rely on a lot of 16/17yr olds. Right now I think that for next year we're a bit ahead. Come Christmas time toward the end of the trade period that probably changes. But I think our 2nd/3rd lines have a step up on what you have to offer. And we also could have a nice group of draft picks leaving the 2016 draft depending on how a few things go if we take all 3 1st rounders that we can currently have. and since Charlottetown is mentioned can I make a comment on another board Raimu? lol our roster is returning quite a bit of experience as well.. at least i think we are Kielly-Kennedy-Balmas-Chlapik (im putting him here tho i think he could be dealt)- Getson- possibly Rydstrom - maybe Coughler and of course the ultimate wildcard Sprong on defense Thompson- Deschenes- Joseph- Smith room for one new Euro... maybe two in nets Welsh it's not great but it's certainly not ravaged or headed to the bottom.... that might be next year.... i actually think with minor upgrades we could be better in the standings than we were this year...

Anybody that gets any INFO on Dumont please just start your own thread...........lol Why do people like you get so concerned about what's in a thread like this? Having discussions outside of the topic never at all stop someone from posting about the topic. You have 2 posts in the last couple pages about it...just participate in the discussion you want to add info towards and stop worrying about posts that result from normal conversation...

Posters with no connections to the team end up knowing that stuff before billets do. If people have information, they will share it. You don't have to ask for it...I believe news tends to travel rather quickly in 2016...

Both teams lose a lot from this past season. Charlottetown had 9 19yr olds and 3 overagers...most of which are key pieces.

Twice on the same page you were trying to dictate/end discussion rather then post about the topic to try and bring it back. People will give you information on Dumont when it's available. People posting projected rosters and expectations for the future doesn't change the fact that there's no information to share. Apparently you had more info then anyone and didn't share it with us. How would people know ownership is away on vacation and that's delaying the decision?

McDonald sure tho many argue Welsh played as well as he did much of the year the other 19's are either coming back, very tradeable or very minor pieces (Duchesne) or Euro (Rydstrom) as with last year it's the uncertainty of the status of Sprong and perhaps Chlapik that are the wildcards that can put us between upper half and lower half I think Cape Breton is losing far more than we are

Dubois and Sprong are the wild cards. The fact that we both finished well below our expectations in terms of this regular season sets us both up to over achieve a bit next season as thanks to neither team selling the farm in season there's enough veterans coming back to give the fans a bit of hope for an exciting 1st half.
