Throwing this out there as a thought ... came to me after Price played so well against Pittsburgh. For some of the veteran guys, being in the bubble could turn out to be highly beneficial - they can lock in and focus 100% on hockey for as long as they are alive ... Not saying they don't miss their families, but as anyone with a spouse and kids can attest, at times with family life come responsibilities and/or drama that can be distracting and take away from your best performance at work. Getting away for a few weeks/months may allow some of these guys to be more locked in than they have in years. Thoughts? That makes sense, also there is the 4 months off which helps guys that play a ton during the season be fresh for post season, usually guys like Toews Crawford Price Weber are at less than 100% at playoff time.

Reirden is out for Washington! I'm curious to see who will replace him.
