He never said he was vaccinated. He said he was immunized. I heard the clip this AM, the reporter asked him if he was vaccinated...his reply was "yeah, I'm immunized". He was doing press conferences with no mask which is against NFL rules, same for not having a mask on the sidelines, flying with the team etc... Rogers is a bigger diva than any NFL WR...who are known to be divas...very talented but can you win with somebody with a head that inflated? This take on Aaron Rodgers is hilarious. Outside of whatever major news outlets you listen to, by all accounts Rodgers is a great teammate. Green Bay has been to the playoffs 10 of the past 12 years. So yeah, i'd say you can win with him. Lastly, Rodgers is no more a Diva than any other QB in the league. Guy got pissed GB wasted a 1st rounder on a QB in the midst of having a championship caliber team. Also, I'd like to mention that anything that has come out about Green Bay-Rodgers disagreements hasn't been leaked from his side. The only difference with the Tom Brady situation in New England is that Management didnt leak info to the media. Again, this take is hilarious

quality human beings..... NFL motto for years guys lying about vaccination status..... guys shitting on their teammates thru the media to force their way out the team they don't wanna play for... guys gettin ripped drunk and driving twice the speed limit and killing people along the way...... when's the first shooting this year? wake me up when the superbowl is on....... i'll watch then but never be a big fan because the league is full of absolute trash humans We can say that for all major sports, the NFL just has much bigger rosters(53) vs 23 for NHL 26 for MLB and 12 for NBA. very few of the other sports have stars in these situations...... annually garbage humans not all but enough to make me not support them

I guess the question that needs to be answered then is why did the NFL/the Packers allow him to do all these things then? He said he was immunized, he never said he was vaccinated. Naturally our mind goes to a vaccine but he never said that. He was sly with his words but I guess that’s sort of on us, for not digging deeper into his comments. He apparently applied for an exemption so obviously the NFL was aware of his status. I’d be shocked if the Packers weren’t too, so why did they let him do all these things that are against the rules? I think we know why but they’ll never say it. It’s hard for me to crucify or be mad at him for not following the rules when his employers never made him follow the rules. He’s going be crucified for what he did but he’s not the only one to blame here, as far as him not following the rules.

Other teams have been sanctioned for skirting the rules before.

Matt Lafleur was quoted pretty bluntly yesterday as saying he basically didn't care about any NFL regulations when it comes to his players dealing with the media. profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/11/04/matt-lafleur-100-percent-confident-team-followed-covid-rules-in-football-spaces/The fact the coach openly admits to ignoring the rules in place should be a pretty telling sign that no rules were followed lol

I think the term "garbage humans" is a little harsh but there is an interesting study that could come from a discussion like this. What if we applied some filters and compared them to say other entertainers who average 7 figure salaries? I'd expect that the NFL would stand out in a big way when compared to peers in other sports as well. But maybe thats where the increased roster size balances things out a bit. There seems to be a lot less serious crime by NFL players though. It seemed like from the 90's through 2010's or so that certain terms always had multiple guys in trouble.

The stuff people say taking out of hockey has changed the game...a lot of it still exists in football. NFL is by far the best sport to wager on. The nature of most games happening at 1/4pm est on Sunday means you have a full slate of games to pick from. Fantasy Football is like the #1 fantasy sport to play. Again...tied to gambling. But becoming a larger part of office culture especially in Canada. And to be fair...Can't I name Theo Fleury, Sheldon Kennedy, and Kyle Beach and say hockey has some pretty vile humans attached to it as well? Every sport does it you dig deep enough.

I think part of it is roster size, when you have 53 to 70 players under contract per team and 32 teams, that's 1600+ players while the NHL has about 700, MLB about 800 and NBA under 400. The other part is a lot of NFL guys come from poor, inner city backgrounds and had very little money as kids, you give them million dollar contracts and not all of them will react the right way.

The thing I find appealing in terms of NFL football is the in game strategy even from play to play. You obviously have talent on both sides of the ball that impacts every play, but also the sequence of plays, structures of systems and the pause between plays allows for analysis. Baseball used to be like that, now it's just grinding one AB after the other, with a lot less strategy, little bunting or starting the runners.
