Hockey talk is way too slow right now, and I find myself drawn to post in the Trump board so I can talk about anything.
But that's probably just... bad for my mental health haha. I generally try to use this place to get away from that kinda nonsense so, what's everyone been up to during the Pandemic? How have we all been passing the time?

It's definitely pretty quiet socially at the moment with not a lot happening.
I find myself passing my time playing xbox/gamepass ultimate games on my PC. Got back into some Age of Empires lately to pass some time late night after the wife goes to bed.
Also watching more TV. Just finished The Wilds season 1 on Prime.
Thank god hockey is back tomorrow.

I've had more time to draw at least.... it's an extra revenue stream at least. Figured out Trello as a good way to keep track of all that stuff. trello.com/b/OcIQmVQI/commission-progressSocially, I'm lucky to have a couple friend bubbles that seem to be okay... but I still miss like, going out to restaurants and stuff.

More Netflix than ever...and Prime...I started watching Your Honor and Big Sky, both are excellent. Just watched the first episode of Yellowstone and that was good.

How was The Wilds? I enjoyed it. Clearly a season 2 is planned as it was left pretty wide open. But really solid first season I thought. Going to try and catch the first part of the Tiger doc some evening this week. That looks like it has potential.

Bosch - 5 seasons. Good detective show. Based of the Connelly books. The Boys - 2 season. Haven’t watched season 2 yet but really enjoyed the first. Superhero show for adults. Jack Ryan - like the first season, haven’t seen the second yet. The Expanse - if you like Science fiction. Think there’s 5 seasons. Can’t think what other shows I’ve watched but the content is decent. I find the movies tend to lean towards the B movies but it has some good shows.

I read a few of the Bosch novels but didn't really like them enough to continue, so haven't watched the Bosch series. I am reading a Connelly book now ... part of the Lincoln lawyer series, and Bosch appears in almost everyone of those books. On prime I watched Jack Ryan (2 seasons) and it was very good. Also watched the worlds toughest race which is a doc but very interesting. On Netflix ... the Queen's Gambit was very good. My wife got me to watch Bridgerton and it was okay but not something I'd recommend to a guy ... watch it with your significant other so you get Brownie points and can later say " ... but I watched Bridgerton with you". I watched Yellowstone and loved it. can't remember if it is 3 seasons now or four seasons, but I am up to date. One regular TV show that I love to watch is "Curse of Oak Island". Its in its 8th season now. I like it because I am an Engineer and it has become an Engineering investigation, with lots of history mixed in. But also because its local and has many local people involved. Experts from St. Marys, Acadia, UNB are regularly on the show providing expertise, and Irving Equipment has played a big role. Its on Sunday at 11:00 PM on History, but I record it and watch it later in the week. They have uncovered things that are dating back to the 1300s which may cause history to be rewritten (Columbus wasn't the first one here). Not sure where you'd find old seasons but I am sure they can be found somewhere. My all time favourite is Peaky Blinders.

Think he wrote that a while back, not a Bosch novel, but easily my favourite by him. Haven’t read any of the Lincoln Lawyer. The Bosch show is really well done. The wife and I watch the curse of oak island... frustrating but entertaining

Worked till the beginning of December I worked in an essential service, other than for a month till the dust settled. Read some, Lots of walks, been to a few restaurants but I try not to spend to much time in public other than for appts or if I need to pick something up. Plenty of Walks, Chilling on my computer, Talking to people and doing some stuff online on Zoom. Word Searchs.

I'm in that stretch with a 2 year old daughter where it is increasingly more difficult to find the time for sports. I might have watched 3 periods of World Junior Hockey... I usually watch every Canada game and most games that involve Mooseheads. The Leafs may ice the best team they've iced in years, but I don't know if I'll get the time to watch them.
I'm the last person on Earth that hasn't seen the US version of The Office, so my wife and I are binging that on Netflix before the possibility of its removal. Watched one episode of The Queen's Gambit, and was surprised by how dark it was. I'll take Steve's recommendation and stick with it.
I'm treading water at my limits in Online Poker, stuck between 1x and 2x my initial deposit amount for years now. Could be worse I suppose, but needing to commit to study off the table in order to improve, and trying to find the time for that is challenging. Streaming poker personalities on Twitch is always good for a laugh, and learning a bit there as well. Found out that with my Amazon Prime account, I can subscribe to any one streamer on Twitch for free. Good way to support someone whose content you enjoy, and take money out of Bezos's pocket at the same time.

That show really figured out a way to make chess look cool. I actually started playing a few games since we've been getting hit with cases here in NB and have more restrictions. Nice way to take a break from the screen. The office is a terrific binge, and one of the most rewatchable shows for me personally. The later seasons they really lose steam but I found the last season was great.
