chl.ca/draftThe draft is June 30 beginning at noon ATL. We select 13th and would assume we'll use that pick, and pass on the 2nd. Who do we pick ?

Do we all think Moncton will draft a forward with the pick or is there any chance that they’ll go d?
I can’t see them going goalie unless they grab a 19 year old, but at the 13th that seems to be a bit high in a year where the team won’t be competing.

66 points in 33 u17 games and 18 points in 14 u20 games.
Seems to be a good addition to the lineup, and the fact he isn’t a Russian or a Swede drafted that early, might be a good chance he actually joins the team.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't go for an older established forward to help carry the offensive load

I'm a bit surprised they didn't go for an older established forward to help carry the offensive load D'aoust will be the older guy to carry the offensive load along with Labelle & Langlois at least for the first half. Older establish euro's as 19 year olds aren't really very common. Right now they should be targetting being a top team in the next 2-3 years building around Fillion, Barbashev, Loshing, Darcy, Iasenza and hopefully some of the early picks this year. Taibel fits with that plan.
