Perhaps there is a thread for this somewhere, but best of luck to Moncton Flyers tonight. They will battle Magog in the Telus Cup final in Okotoks.
I think the Flyers program is the class of the Maritimes in recent years. In Charlottetown we have benefited from the contributions of Cormier and LeBlanc the past few years….and there are many more Flyers alumni dotting rosters around the Q.
Now they get a chance to show they are one of the best U18 programs in the country.

Great to see the Flyers in the mix after a couple of really tough Covid affected seasons.
They do everything first class as an organization. When you click on their website - everything is well done. They're deep as an organization in community support. Even a glance at the coaching staff shows nine names - a coach for this - a coach for that - player development - skills development - video - it's a very well run program.
I remember John DeCourcey from way back in 1992 when he took over as head coach of the Cole Harbour Colts. He took over from Mike Ritcey, who sadly passed away this past week. Mike had been a former Colts' star goaltender in the mid-1980's. DeCourcey had also been a goaltender in his playing days in the Saint John area.
DeCourcey was eventually replaced behind the Colts' bench by the legendary Bob Boucher.
GO FLYERS GO!
FROM THE MONCTON FLYERS WEBSITE: Moncton Rallye Motors Nissan Flyers FLYERS PLAY FOR GOLD SUNDAY Zachary Wheeler scored in overtime as the Moncton Rallye Motors Nissan Flyers booked a ticket to the gold medal game of the Telus Cup in Okotoks, Alberta. Jack Martin was named top defenseman.

John Decourcey has done wonders with this Moncton program. It's a shame a few select parents ran him out of coaching his hometown Saint John program.

Congratulations to the Moncton Flyers - 2022 Telus Cup Champions! GAME OVER! Jack Martin needed only 40 seconds to score the overtime goal and the Moncton Flyers have won the 2022 TELUS Cup! What an exciting game between these two teams. After the Cantonniers de Magog tied the game with under a minute left in regulation, the Moncton Flyers come back to win Canada's National Men's U18 Club Championship! MAG 4 - MON 5
