Personally, I'm not a big golfing fan, but I find the situation that's going on to be interesting.
Brooks Koepka is the latest high-profile golfer to be joining the LIV Golf Series, according to multiple reports.
Koepka tied for 55th at the U.S. Open last week criticized reporters for asking about LIV Golf.
“I’m here. I’m here at the U.S. Open. I’m ready to play U.S. Open, and I think it kind of sucks, too, you are all throwing this black cloud over the U.S. Open,” he said.
“It’s one of my favorite events. I don’t know why you guys keep doing that. The more legs you give it, the more you keep talking about it.”
The second LIV event is scheduled to start in Portland on June 30.

Its another KHL in a way.
An unsustainable business model funded by people who have way too much money at their disposal. Who could probably buy all the top PGA guys for the next 100 years and still have way too much money.
People will bring up the morals of taking blood money but there's a line from 7-8 figures and 8-9 figures that many athletes/performers have drawn as their limit and the organizers of this are happily making offers which cross those lines to buy all these people up.
The PGA's "suspensions" are weak also. They know if this thing ever folds they'll open their arms to welcome all these guys back. This will open up the PGA to looking at contact terms I think as its going to force them to protect their brand and they can't do that if the next generation doesnt play in majors.

People are quick to judge the individuals jumping ship with their moral compass but the World Cup being in Qatar is a way bigger deal than a few golfers joining a tour funded by Saudis.

they better find a way to get on tv
i could care less about moral compasses
i also could care less how many golfers sign up to play on this rogue tour
i'm a PGA guy but i think eventually they will relent and allow their members to play both.... really no reason they can't..... long as you play your required number of PGA events to keep your card and finish in the top 125 i don't think they have a leg to stand on legally
but the older guys who just wanna make money and play 10 times a year can go fuckin pound saudi sand for all i care lol
