Lovely fee structure you have there... It really turned me off from going. I don't want to overpay on a game that could be very boring.

Fifa already have their money. Its the Canadian broadcaster of the tournament who would miss out on any revenue from Canadians going to streaming websites. By streaming illegally we really just hurt our domestic tv carriers....the global entities (NFL, NHL, Fifa) are not missing out on much when TV rights are what they are.

It's about thinking a billion dollar entity cares if they get your monthly sub fee. If you support even 1 advertiser you're playing your part in the economy and supporting Fifa and TSN. Buy toilet paper? Beer? Tim Hortons? Canadian Tire? Its all supporting Bell and Fifa. You'd almost have to only shop in the "No Name" section of No Frills to avoid supporting larger corporations.

No Name is owned by Loblaws, Galen would still thank you for your support. Looks like farmers markets might be the only way!

Looks like they are planning to fill the building on Monday for the noon game with high school kids on comp tickets ... not a bad idea ... they aren't going to attract much of a paying crowd on a weekday, and the kids will no doubt spend some cash on concessions.

Wonder if Ticketmaster still takes $20 per ticket on a comp ticket.
